I have decided to document a live experimentation of my earlier Case Study HERE. My plan is to show and document the exact process that has earned me (and several of my clients) Many Top Spot Positions in Google. To make this documentation really extensive, I will be promoting 3 different keywords from 2 of my personal sites :

This promotion will follow strictly the guidelines i have provided in my unbelievable rankings posts. However, I am adding a few new tips, all which will come into play as we progress.

I will try to be as detailed as i can, but if something is unclear or you have a suggestion/get confused, do let me know.

Here are details of sites and keywords to be used for this experiment

Site A(Details) :

- Site is 2.5 Months Old.
- Keywords proportion in Domain : 30-40%
- Has 2 pages of Optimized content(About 500 words each)
- Has 89 Backlinks in Yahoo Site Explorer
- Pr 0

Keyword 1 :

Exact Search/Month : 33,000
Broad Competition : 3.5Million
Competiton in quotes :366,000
Current Rankings : Not in top 1000

Keyword 2:

Exact Search/Month :60,500 searches
Broad Comepetion : 1.9Million Pages
Competition in Quotes : 1.6 Million Pages
Current Rankings : Not in Top 300

Site B(Details) :

- Site is 4 years Old.
- Keywords proportion in Domain : 0%
- Has over 80 pages of Unique but not well Optimized content(About 500 words each)
- Has 1600+ Backlinks in Yahoo Site Explorer
- Pr 2

Keyword :

Exact Search/Month : 300,000+ Searches
Broad Competition : 40 Million+
Competion in quotes : 11 Million+
Current Rankings : Not in Top 50

Day 1 starts in the next post!

Day 1 :

Step 1 :

- Writing of 10 Unique Articles Each for site A and B.
For each site, I will divide the articles into 2 groups :

i. First 5 to be used for web 2.0 and other promotions
ii. Rest 5 to be posted on the money sites as we go along.

Step 2 :

- Setting up of accounts at :

- Video Sites
- Web 2.0 Sites
- Social Bookmarking/Social News Sites
- Top Article Directories
- Forum profile
- Press Release Site
- Document sharing Sites

Step 3 :

Setting up account with linklicious/Buying Some bulk indexing tool Keys for the purpose of indexing all created urls.

Step 4 :

Set up account with a drip feed blast Service. One that delivers both Blog comment and Forum profiles. i.e Botwiz's dripable.com

please keep this updates regularly even if there isnt movement in ranking. seen many case study give up after a week or two

I will update the thread from time to time, otherwise, it will defeat its purpose as an experiment. Thanks for the input!

Seems like a good detailed case study so far. Hope you keep us updated.

Good Luck.

Day 2 :

Waiting on articles to be completed. Accounts needed for all promotion is now set up.
Linklicious/license keys for bulk indexing tool is as well ready to go. Once the articles arrive later today, I will set up the campaign and report back how they were set up.
There will be more details tommorrow once the first campaign goes live.

Thanks to everyone who has subscribed.

Hoping you stick with this as well, there's only been a few decent journals/case studies where people have actually stuck with it. I'm looking forward to your results!

Okay..here is the update from my last post.

Promotion:

Step 1:

From the created accounts on day 1, I set up a campaign that generated backlinks as follows :

-Couple 100 Web 2.0/ Social Site Submission
-Couple 100 Article Submission
-Couple 100 Profile backlinks
-Couple 100 Social Bookmark to money site and all of the created urls

So right now, I have about 900 total backlinks made for Site A and about 1102 for site B(I didnt use press release and Docs sites afterall)

Step 2 :

I added a fresh, well optimized content to both of my sites. I added one before i started the web 2.0 campaigns(4 days back) and today again, i have added one to each of them. These articles again, are really well optimized

Step 3:

I have posted all the 900 links from site A in my linklicious account. So they should be getting indexed over the next couple days/weeks.

For Site B, I am running a scrapebox blast on all the 1102 created backlinks. So far, I have blasted over 500K comments to this urls. Note this are the successful posts only, I didnt bother to check if scrapebox found them or not. But whatever the situation is, we will probably have about 50% of the links as live links.

Ranking update :

Ranking has remained almost the same.

Site A :

Keyword 1 is now at #386 and

Keyword 2: is at #400+

Site B :

Keyword has been fluctuating between #42 and #60

What to expect :

Well, i can only expect these sites to dance a lot since i am currently building links to them. Backlinks have also been climbing for these sites, so i will let google do its job.
I am setting up another campaign as we speak. It will be ready to process in about 48 hours and this should generate in total another 1.5k backlinks for each site. This time, I will not use profile backlinks at alol...I will strictly use web 2.0s, social bookmark and article sites.

I will continue to update the thread as we progress.

any question? Feel free to ask.

I love seeing journal like this as long as it lasts (no offense though, often they don't) but claiming to rank virtually any keyword might be a bold statement! Good luck, pal!

gl with ur journey..can u answer some plz ?

1. are paid indexing services really needed ? cant i use bulkping.com, make rss feed of the links (the rss feed has a bulkping.com /.../ url so no need to upload on our own domain ?), submit rss feed to rss directories and ping them daily once a day till i find those links in majestic or yahoo explorer? (when shud pinging of links stop?)

2. are u using rank tracker ? which one to measure ranking?

thanks for post and gl again..

wait, how did u get 100 properties for each with a single article? how did u sign up all these properties? im guessing its not manual...

1. I use paid services to get the job done so as to avoid too much hassle. I have been using deki bulk indexing tool which allows me to create html file for my backlinks. Once i upload these html files to my host, within 2 weeks about 60% of my links would already be indexed. It is very important to make sure you index those links otherwise you will be loosing about 70% of your link juice. I am experimenting with linklicious now which hopefully should deliver a better result perhaps.

2. I use traffic travis and Market samurai.

Yes, it is automated. As for the article, note that this is a heavily spun article as in it is capable of generating several hundred copies with almost no similarity.

OP: I didn't see any mention of the tools you are using with this case study (correct me if I missed that part). It doesn't look like this is all being done manually, but I guess I could be wrong. It would be helpful if you included that in your posts...thanks for the great thread!
