A client has asked me how much I would charge for a rank and rent service . I've not answered yet as I dont know nor dobi know which way to charge the service.

There could be 2 ways to do it and so 2 price structures

1 I sell him space on a site I've ranked ( for his niche I'll have to build another site and start from scratch but will be highly relevant)

2 I change him to build the site and rent the space.

What are the prices for these 2 services please all. Thanks

Interested also out of pure curiosity about the way this is measured

What kind of sites can be rank or rent ?
Any site. Especially service sellers like plumbers and dentists etc but these can be some really hard and saturated niches, and with medic update last year :)

Thanks, did you go & inform local servies about your site or they contacted you directly

It can be done this way yes, I have some I've not offered out yet, but this client saw my cv and asked

It boils down to how much the site is generating and how much each lead is potentially worth. For example, if a ranked roofing site generates 10 roof replacement leads a month, and let's say only 4 are secured. That's still could be tends of thousands in revenue for the client. So client wouldn't hesitate to pay $1000 per month.

But, if you have another niche, where the value of each lead is $25. And you generate 10 leads a month. You'll find it difficult to rent the site for $40 a month.

I have no experience in this are but logic dictates the price should be directly related mainly to the traffic that the site is able to generate. This is what your potential customer will find valuable and what you would need to leverage on your advantage.

Is this will be something you´re going to be building from scratch then, I don´t know. But, I am also guessing, you can charge a monthly sub or per lead.
