Well this particular type of coughing is great news. Dust particles that we inhale all the time are transported back from the lungs to the mouth and usually swallowed to be expelled through we all know what
The transport is through tiny 'hairs' in the lungs and cigarette smoke keeps them paralyzed. When we sleep, we are not smoking and they start working so smokers usually need to cough out all the crap that was transported while they slept.
Same with you now, even if you don't sleep.
The next thing you are about to experience in just a day or so is being able to do more physical work without panting. This is due to getting rid of the carbon monoxide constantly lodged in 10% of your oxygen transporting cells while you smoked.
Problem with insomnia may get worse, I am not sure.... But judging from my father, it only gets worse as a man ages, as far as I can tell.. He sleeps about 4 hours at a stretch... Maybe its just in my family, but I know a lot of people that sleep like that... As far as my physical activity goes, I dont have that as much as I used to, due to being ill all the time. So its hard for me to work out or go do things anyways, so I dont get tired very often... My life is pretty sedentary. I may notice some things when I have to go to the mailbox, however, so I wll report...
hic hic

i tried it 4 times but it's impossible with me how can I do
Get that its about you, and nothing else, can't quit a damn thing unless its for you... And make sure you really want to quit, because you are your own worst enemy... Your mind is an adult theater, and you have to be 21 or older to get in, lol, you aren't there yet, so stay out, and dont think about it... Also, dont take that personally, its a parable...
Honestly the price alone here for cigarettes was making me sick plus knowing that I did it to myself would be one of thing most unforgivable things I could have imagined. Dizz, I do wish you luck but remember, its a lifestyle change just like with any drug. You have to make not smoking a priority in your life and you will notice after the years go by how much healthier you will feel. Don't do it for anyone one but yourself or it will not work. Let the nicotine go out of your system for a week(do it cold turkey if you can as the gum or NRT only prolongs you in using in my opinion.Try chewing gum, exercising, and eating the right food as alternatives even meditating if you so inclined to do so and realize how much money you have saved that could go into things that you and Amanda could enjoy. That is truly priceless. Wishing you the best~ Pm me if you need to just talk
WTF? Do you work for my insurance company... LOL, they said the same thing.. I have a 800 number that I can call anytime if I have a smoking emergency... And Im not kidding, thats how they told it to me... A smoking emergency... Umm... I know how twelve step programs work, and this is set up just like AA.
I hear that...I quit when my daughter was 1 1/2 and I wanted to be sure I'd be around to see her grow up (I'm pretty old already lol). And I think that's the only reason I was able to do it.
It's almost 2 years now and I still want one at times --- but my reason for quitting was stronger than my reasons for smoking. I think that for many people, that's the only way it'll work. Until she was born, I never seriously thought about quitting even once, even though I was getting sick from it.
Dizz, you can succeed --- IF you have a reason for quitting that's more powerful than the desire to smoke. Find that reason, and you can make it through the next day and next week and next month...and then you'll be home free. Good luck.
Oh, I know I will be fine with it, its just aggravating because your body has to clean out all the shit the cigarettes put in your system... And Im a dick already... So for the next (however long it takes) I am probably going to say and do things I dont mean, because my body is out of sorts...
