With Amazon affiliate programs offering such a low rate, what do you think of the idea of setting up an agreement between Brand Vendors (who only sell on Amazon) and Affiliates where the Affiliates would get the standard Amazon affiliate commission AND extra commission from the Brand Vendor for every unit sold? So basically, the Affiliate would get a check from Amazon at the end of the month and another check from the Brand Vendor once they have a way to confirm the number of sales that they brought to the Vendor’s product page on Amazon.

Disclosure: I am a brand vendor with products on Amazon. We have excellent conversion rates but need to drive more traffic to the product page, and we need to do this quite rapidly.

I’ve tried to search but have not found any discussion on this topic.

you haven't found a discussion because it just wouldn't work. Why would a brand pay more to do what they are already doing, plus Amazon would probably ban you if they found out. What happens is there is a disagreement between parties. It's just pointless

Thanks for the reply man. The point is at 4%, Amazon Associates commission is not attractive compared to other affiliate programs. There's got to be a way for brand owners to offer some juicy commissions to Affiliates. I've not found anything that opposes this in Amazon T&C. Do you have any sources?

Why would a company pay more commission, that's more profit gone. Do you really think amazon would mind you taking from them?
