Well I am starting a site that sells virtual gold(GP) for the game "RuneScape". I have the domain name RSGP . info, and my partner has 2.3 Billion GP in the game. So he is going to sell the 300 million GP for $150 to invest in the site. I originally wanted to sell the gold normally, and then allow the users to have accounts which they can earn GP using surveys (and perhaps for loyalty as well). The plan is to buy the gold at around $0.5 or $.55/million GP and sell at $0.75 or $0.80/million GP, and for the surveys sell at $1 / million GP. Now I thought that because of my customers will most likely be 12, 13 year old kids, who probably have little to no money to spend on GP. I thought it would be smart to do the survey thing. However after talking to my friend, she thinks it isn't smart to do the surveys.

So, should I use the surveys?

If so who would be the best to use for this? (Especially if I want to have this option available for customers around the world)

Why not offer both options if not more? Just like traffic exchanging websites offer people to buy credits or earn credits. I'm sure by implementing surveys you will be getting a higher dollar per GP value because it is free on your visitors end. So basically I would definitely run both on the website. PM me if you need help, I always wanted to run a virtual selling site.

I was in this business along time ago. Believe it or not these little 12 year old kids go get daddy and mommy's credit card and will buy tons of gold. So kids will buy it, dont worry.

Yeah, but do you think the earning GP option should be kept available?

I'd get a different domain name, I heard of Jagex seizing domain names that have RS in it. Usually not a problem with people with legitimate Runescape fan sites, but a big problem with sites that encourage Real-World item trading and botting.

Thanks for the tip! I will talk to my partner about getting a new domain and using that as a forward.

Sorry, don't have the posts needed to PM. You can go ahead and message me on one of the messengers on my profile.

I would definitely offer 2 options...

You could lock the offers with only mobile offers (they pay as high as 9$) You would still make some good cash and take advantage of the fact that most 12 year olds have cell phones these days.

That's a pretty good idea. Thanks.
