I am starting a few micro niches about recipes but specifically targeting ingredients and some recipes to use them. Would I rank better if I created a blog and posted individual recipes one at a time or if I created just a static landing page with something like "5 recipes you can make with blah"? I have been going back and forth about this for a little while now and can't decide. I already have the keywords picked out.

I hope I posted this in the right place, it's my first post here.

I think you should go for a static one IF you do not plan to add to it. However, it is always advisable to keep it dynamic and regularly updated with fresh content. SEO though controllable, is not entirely under our control. It can be erratic at times.

My personal opinion is to add them one at a time, updating often to have fresh content.

In my opinion, you can add all recipes at a time and keep updating some different recipes or changes in it.
Because fresh site will get more visitors and your traffic will increase and gradually rank also gets increased.

You can add all recipes at same time and involves in the process of adding recipes and making changes day to day which helps to get good rankings and attract the user.

Yes, add all the recipes and keep updating this will get you repeated users , the important thing is recipe images are in good clarity to attract.

Go with as many possible links and create content with images, videos etc. The more recipes you have with the right keywords, the better.

However this question you asked opens a bigger issue... I think you need to do some research on SEO before you continue...
