Question about Blogger Page Rank

For 4 years, I have been on the blogger platform and currently stuck with a PR4.

My question is, someone once told me that you can actually get a PR5 or PR6 on blogspot.

IS this true?

Or have I been wasting my time as many people have told me to shift over to wordpress while I have been trying to get it to PR5.

I'd like to hear from someone who has experience in this.

I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't be able to get a PR 8 on a blogger. I have never read anything that says PR is influenced by whether you are on blogger or wordpress. Only thing that will help is to get linkjuice incoming.

Don't worry about page rank. I've heard Google are getting rid of it anyway

There are many high page rank Blogger blogs; no reason to switch to Wp if you are doing fine where you are. Just focus on getting additional high quality backlinks from authoritative sites and your PR should rise quickly.

i have never heard of a limit of PR for blogger and so i doubt that it would make much difference. so i wouldn't switch platforms because it would cause trouble.

Based on my experience a personal blog, not a company blog - can get maximum PR7.
