Hello everyone,

I've been using "HARO" for my backlinking campaign, and so far it's been going well.

I've acquired multiple backlinks to my homepage with "the same anchor text", which is my website's name.

So my question is:
  • if I keep using the same anchor text for all those acquired backlinks, will that impact my SEO negatively, and might be seen as spam/penalization by Google?

I'd appreciate any advice on the matter for anyone expert on the subject.

Thank you

yes and no

With branded anchors you have more leeway than with keyword anchors. But still, I wouldn't go higher than 60-70% (although I did see sites having as much as 83% branded anchors).

Just keep your branded anchors around 60-70% and you're safe

That's really good to know! Thank you very much!

Just one more question @tazarbm what if i change slightly my branded anchors will that give me more leeway on my total backlinks so add more branded keywords?

what if i change slightly my branded anchors
can you give an example of a slightly modified anchor? I'm having a hard time figuring out what you mean by this (probably because I'm sick at the moment and my brain still hears christmas lights lol)

don't worry.
you can get as many as branded anchor links as you need. The link profile will come natural eventually.

The modified anchor is like this:

old anchor: (with spaces)
  • old anchor text

New anchor: (without spaces)
  • newanchortext

I'm assuming this counts as a totally different anchor text for Google, right?

Diversify always. If your brand is, let’s say "JimmyTheButcher”, you should use “jimmy the butcher”, “jimmythebutcher”, “JimmyTheButcher”, “Jimmy the Butcher”, “JimmyTheButcher.com” etc…

spaces or no spaces don't mean anything, they're still branded anchors. So, you won't get any leeway by adding / removing spaces

So as suggested in an earlier post, spaces or capitalized letters won't do?

Should I then consider adding a ".com" keyword? Will that be enough then?

Using these create an good impact over like many of us use keywords like this way , so the backlinks profile looks natural !
