I have a brand new site and yesterday when I checked my serp for my brand keyword using serplab it said I was 45/100 which is nothing amazing but at least I was heading in the right direction.

This morning when I checked again it now tells me not found in top 100 mfg:

Does anyone know why?

That's called Google Dance, you probably got sandboxed, dont worry, just get some quality backlinks and do white hat seo, it will again display in google.

Dont worry. It happens for new websites.

Everyone spouts 'Google Dance' when this happens, but it's just the algorithm re-positioning you. Keep up with your current link building strategy and it will do that again and you'll end up higher than you were before. It's about consistency.

If you aren't ranking for your brand KW, that might not be G dance. If that was the case for searched keywords, I'd agree, but if you're not ranking for your own brand (brand being from Example.com - Example) something might be wrong with your site.

Considering this is a brand new domain, this is perfectly normal. Just focus on whatever you are doing and it will be back.

Have you checked your google webmaster to see if you have been punished?

If its all clear then you just need to relax and keep working, it takes time.

Im an impatient person but ive no control over google so i just have to hurry up and wait.

I think this perfectly normal. Keep building non spammy links.

You say this is a new site. If you get punished what did you do to get punished?

Don't build any new backlinks for a week or so. Add fresh content(5-6 articles) and leave it. Google will pick those in coming days.After 2 weeks start building links gradually.

Brand new sites take a while to settle down.

Main thing to do it not panic and just keep up the good work.
