I develop a plugin that can create hundreds and thousands of pages within minutes.

Like a page template then some placeholders will replace automatically from the csv file.

But I don't have proper plan to create a successful programmatic seo project.

Any idea?

Having a plugin that generates hundreds/even thousands of pages from CSV + placeholders is the number 1 platform. Now, with just a reasonable content strategy and structure, you can scale SEO very quickly and sustainably.

Is this still a thing I thought people were having issues in indexing those thousands of pages, let alone driving any traffic.

For starter have good idea of playing with data, if you can play with data you can make better templates. Use airtables + python automation for generating good quality pages/templates.

But if i create 1000 pages. But for the same template 80% content of the pages will be the same. So how can i be unique to google.? How to overcome it

I can handle the indexing issue. That's not a problem but Without a directory site is there any other choice?
