Promoting Funny Pics Site

I have a funny pics site which is a DamnLOL clone thats just sitting around lmao. What would you think is an effective way to promote this type of site? Anyways, I would like to just get some consistent traffic to sell it on flippa to get it off my shoulders. Im thinking to buy some traffic as well as some facebook posts and tweets from fiverr. Any other cheap things I could do?

Facebook is the best source of traffic specially for sunny websites, Create a page and share your website pics as well as posts there. If there is a uniqueness in your stuff then likes and traffic both cross your heart.

Definitely Facebook. As much as I hate many of the pages I've liked in the past flooding my facebook, I'm always happy when they share funny pictures from LolChamp. Makes me timeline much more interesting!

Make a new page and share these pictures. Get a couple of your friends to see them and they may go viral.
