Hi all,
After being with DigitalPoint since 2005 and posting well over 1,000 posts, I decided... I?d had enough of that pathetic excuse of an IM forum. I needed a new forum which actually had people with ideas to share, innovation to ponder and some damn right dirty blackhat tactics
After reading many of the threads and replies here, I can honestly say that I am going to be more than happy to be a regular contributor! However, I don?t think I?m doing myself ay favours by opening with a question...
I am looking for some guidance on how to promote a branded company blog on services such as stumble upon and digg. The niche I am in is a fun one for most people to look at, but also quite targeted in terms of getting leads. I usually ping my blogpost after its published and then submit it to Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon, Facebook and Twitter. It receives some small Twitter traffic, and the odd retweet, but no traffic or ?votes? from the likes of Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon... Can someone let me know where I am going wrong here? I am spending a long time creating these blogposts, so want to see the benefit in terms of traffic also.
Cheers,
Powelly
