Hello,
Maybe some of you will be familiar with this. I'm building a price comparison website and now I have encountered a product matching problem. How do you cope with it? I have a lot of product feeds (.xml, .csv) from different shops, but not all of them have universal product codes such as EAN. The only solution I see is matching by name, but I haven't found any ready-made solutions for it. Maybe there are some tools I'm just not aware of that could do that? Or maybe you know someone that could help me with that? Maybe, in general, you have any suggestions?
Thank you. :)

If you don't have unified SKU you can rely on, then you have bad times...
If the only way you have is to match just a title of the product, then you would need to use some fuzzy matching algorithms like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Levenshtein_distance
Even then, you will have to implement some admin panel to be able to approve / edit generated matches manually, because you always need to check after the machine, at least at the beginning.
