Hi. How to price scraped email database? What is the formula, how much we should charge for every lets say 1000 or 10000 emails and how many copies can be sold? Are scraped emailes woth anything? Heard from one guy that if we don't have explicit permission to message these people it's worthless but I think most of things has a price. I am aware that many factors like niche and availability for email crawlers/extractors plays a big role. But I completly have no idea about pricing such things since I never did it before. What do you think? Regards!

scraped emails are of no value nowadays. You may be scraping spam traps too.

There are spam traps for sure. There are two types of emails. Service givers and service receivers. The first group may be mostly fake, the 2nd group seems legit.

Those emails that are already on SERP are already spammed as hell.

You have a better chance to try your luck by having a list of new domains registered and scraping them for contact info. And because these are new, website owners may check your email because their inbox is not spammed . Some niches: SEO, Content writing, web development, mobile app, etc.

The point is these emails are not visible on SERP. Visitors need to sign up and log in to reach them. I know many factors affect the final price but I don't belive it's completely useless database.

If you can do it, there are at least 100 guys out there who scrape the same emails, and these emails are spread to N email blasters.

The pricing depends on many factors:

Scrapping source: IG, FB, LinkedIn...

Quality: clean or not

Niches: It's segmented by niche or general

Information: does your list have only emails or other info such as name, company...

From which source are you looking to scrape the emails from? That should be you first question.

Does niche matter in this?

agreed, scraping source tends to determine quality.

based on a database you can build a company from scratch

describe the DB on chatGPT it will give you a business name and plan

the business is going to depend on the database to be useful and meaningful
