Hi I'm a newbie in Online Press Release, I have a few question.

1. What are the common rules in submitting press release, I mean what type of content they are most interested in?
2. Where to submit?
3. How to find a specific press release site , i.e in FASHION industry? (Search Terms used in Google *if any)
4. How to find free press release site?
5. How long does it take to publish a press release?

+Rep for those kind member who will help :)

More power BHW!

Anyone please help ?

Write your press release like a journalist would. New items in your company, new employees, new products or services, promotions, such stuff.

you can read more here http://www.openforum.com/articles/5-tips-for-writing-a-good-press-release/

2. Where to submit?

It depends. The best is PR Web, you can also use PR Buzz and SB Wire.

3. How to find a specific press release site , i.e in FASHION industry? (Search Terms used in Google *if any)

I'm not too sure about that.

4. How to find free press release site?

Try these ones

  • BusinessPortal24
  • Exact Release
  • Information Online
  • IT Director
  • PR Inside
  • PR Log
  • Press Box
  • Press Release Circle

5. How long does it take to publish a press release?

It depends but if you pay, most are a day.

I hope that helps you.

Hi guy, press release very good for seo. I using service at fiverr, and I found press release
published on 43 PR3-7 included PRbuzz and SBwire most indexed within a few hours and
my rank,my DA and PA are higher in a few days. Also SBwire bring me some traffic for
every day while the 1st week

Thus, I agree with kasheshe "The best is PR Web, you can also use PR Buzz and SB Wire."
For SBwire you must write Press Release as The Third Person avoid
1st and 2nd person [I, we , you] because it as an advertising more than press release.

In my case, I think that press release don't need quantity just need quality.

Little tip to written press release , I use google search...

site:sbwire_com keyword
and follow the result, consider what my competition written on sbwire and write as they did.

you may change sbwire_com to press release domain that you want to submit with
on google search. ^^

Finally, want to say thx to kasheshe
Thanks a lot kasheshe : So very nice explaination this much helpful

In my opinion, Sbwire sucks as well as similar services. If you're going to do a release, pay the extra amount to get a full fledged release that is syndicated across multiple platforms. This is the only way to really improve your ranking

Got a tip, as i was looking for a place to submit PR.

Normally sbwire, you have to buy $50/month account. If you don't use it that often its still $120 to buy 10 credits worth of submissions. Very expensive upfront.

Believe it or not, on fiverr lots of $5 gigs where they will submit your PR to sbwire. Not bad, especially if you want to submit 1-2 PR without the upfront investment required at places like sbwire.

just to put in my two cents worth - concentrate on your headline. I do a lot of press releases, places like sbwire will submit the headline to twitter for journalists to pick up on, a good headline will help get your press release re-tweeted.

I saw another service here by KevinA (I can't post the link I guess)...It's for $27 and looks pretty good but there isn't much feedback.

Here's the title:
506039-press-release-syndication-300-worth-premium-syndication-only-27-a

Anyone think this would be worth it?

I think the way to go is a premium service like PrWeb or Ereleases. I find both very good.

There are different sites which you can submit your press release to.
PRBuzz and SBwire are some good examples which accept most of the stuff but are paid though.

And if you are looking to purchase some directly without the hassle of writing and submitting them yourself,
Check out the BST section, there are some great services with amazing reviews.

freeadertisingonline.in is a new press release website with pr of 4. Submit your press release in to and see the difference in ranking

I went to that website above and I don't see any links in any of the press releases or news items. I read one that was selling something but nowhere in the release was a link to the site or a mention of the name of the company...seems kind of pointless, no?

You can check this thread out, folks - http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/buy-sell-services/501654-high-quality-press-release-writing-syndication-starts-just-5-includes-google-news.html
Gets you a PR written and submitted - starting at $5. (and yes, this is self-promotion ;) )

I've done a PR manually and done it through a service and in the future I will always go through a service. They know the rules, where to submit it to, how to write good content, etc. Leave it to the pros and yes, lots of good cheap services here on BHW.

Well said. I've looked high and low for good services, tried my own, used snx a few times. What makes pr's really effective is writing and distribution. Emailwire gets hammared pretty hard, but if written well and the proper distribution it can work good. I recommend to try press release monkey. They cater to seo people, and if this is for a client, than it will really pay off.
