HI Everyone.

I have a problem. I am managing few Adwords Camapign. I am targeting everything perfectly but my campaigns are not converting well. Not getting conversions.

My strategy:-

1) I use Phrase match and Exact Match keywords.
2) I never target General and information queries.
3) I try to target keywords on the basis of user behavior. I mean if they can convert or not for those keywords.
4) I properly use negative keywords to avoid useless clicks.
5) I try to target Top 4 position in adwords. mostly #1 or #2.
6) I use People In My Target Area Option.
7) I also use extensions. All possible extensions.
8) Ad copies content is also good, and have call to action and offers.
9) People are visiting my website for right keywords.
10) landing pages are also good, Nicely created and with proper call to action content.

Any Solutions?

Looking for valuable suggestions :)

Probably targeting the wrong keywords. Try a couple days using broad match and narrow it down. Check out search queries to see which keywords got users to your landing page. Have you had any conversions? Maybe you have conversion tracking implemented incorrectly?

Hi Coltreign,

Thanks for your reply. There were an old campaign, I targeted converting keywords from old campaign. I used same keyword match. Conversion tracking is working. As old campaign was converting.

Also this is happening with some other accounts as well. Sometime sales are there. But sometime there is no conversion.

For example, last to last week there were 9 conversions and this week there is only 1 conversion. Clicks, impressions, CPC, positin, quality score almost everything is same.

Search term are also useful, there are no useless click.

You know, campaigns can suffer from what's called ad exhaustion. Ads only have a certain life cycle before they need to be revamped. I'd say you should check your ad copy and make sure that it's compelling enough while using the proper language to illicit attention and generate conversions. Also, just because certain keywords were converting on an old campaign, doesn't mean that success will transfer over. Make sure your landing pages are designed with the ads in mind and use the same copy found in your ads. Check your "search terms" under keywords and see which queries resulted in conversions and click-throughs and consider targeting those as well.

Without looking into the account, no once can tell exactly what's wrong with it. Please find some agency to look over it.

Check your keywords list carefully, May be you are targeting wrong keywords.

If you're getting traffic/clicks as you say, but those clicks aren't converting then there has to a disconnect between your keywords and your offer OR your landing page.

You seem to be ruling these out as potential trouble spots and it sounds like that's probably not a good idea.

like the first response, you have to look at search queries everyday and you'll find more negative keywords to add
