Posting music successfully to Youtube

Hey guys,

I'm having a hell of a time posting mp3's converted to videos to youtube. The last one I tried, was literally taken off by UMG in a matter a couple minutes. I've heard of people changing the pitch etc but before I go through that hassle I wanted to get your opinions on what works and what doesn't.

Also, how are all the other guys getting their videos to stick?

are you putting no copyright infringement at the bottom? That usually keeps them up.

I've seen that on some people's but I wasn't aware that it actually made a difference.
 
Yes if put that and maybe a little message like i do not own this they will keep it up.

you have to alter the audio, as youtube now has bots that check copyrighted audio, they detect the soundwaves and if it's the same, they will recognize it and u will automatically get a copyright infringement thing.

Yes, I dont know why youtube would allow you to break the rules just because you put a simple message there. Most of the videos I see that stay up have been modified in some way, liuke the videos have been flipped or mirrored. Sometimes the color has been changed a little. The audio has been moved a few pitches up or down. I hope this helps.

Do you upload music no I don't think so and if u changed the audio they would still detect it do to the titles genius putting no copyright infringement intended shows that you are a fan and yes they will know that you have the same song but it's up to the owner if you're song is taken down that is just for that particular group read in youtube about content id matches.
 
Yes I used to upload music, I had 90 videos on my channel, they were all songs from mixtapes, and that's why eventually my account shut down because some of those mixtape songs had copyrighted shit.

Get a Diddy song right now, download it, make a video for it, put "no copyright infringement intended" on the video description, and see what happens. :)
