Does anyone have idea how to make it as blogger from Nigeria. I have most visitors from Nigeria to my news and entertainment blog but AdSense CPC is very low and frustrating. I need expert advice how to make. Daily visitors is like 10-15k.

Do you have any local ad platform? Alternatively, you can scrap AdSense and sell something suited to the local market.

Try To Sell them a Service I think it can work

Firstly, I would say you are working hard bro, I Know what it's like to get such daily traffic, in this country, but I have bloggers who are really doing well, the simple trick they are using are as follows.

Incase you Know the guy called funny pikin. His own method is by buying a growing social media page and linked it up to his blog also purchase some Ads traffic by targeting some low country. Thou he doesn't make much but he make nothing less than a thousand dollars monthly.

And there is this other guy as well that make over a thousand dollars monthly through buy traffic's from companys like mgid and co. Do I will advice you give a try of either method. Don't just invest your money but research before doing so.

Regards...

News and entertainment is hard to monetize except you have a very large traffic. If you have a niched audience around tech, food you can monetize through brands. Im also from Nigeria and I understand your struggle. Nigeria traffic is crap.

I had a general blog like yours and unfortunatly its one of the hardest niches target outside of naija for the CPC or try and niche it down to food or tech. Totally understand your struggle

You'll need to focus on getting traffic from T1 countries, if you prefer to move on with adsense.

I hear that seun of Nairaland and lindaikeji are making millions, how do they go about it since majority of their traffic comes from Nigeria?

Yes that is true but since most people know about it, everyone tries to grab a piece of the pie(myself included) they are established now years and have big budgets for SEO etc to dominate. It is one of the hardest niches out there to get into because of it, you need huge traffic to make a good income in Adsense so this is why.

They sell direct ads; they own 2 of the biggest authority websites in Nigeria so many Nigerian brands, companies and individuals go there to run adverts, especially for products related to young people and women.

These guys are not relying on Adsense as a source of revenue. Last time I asked Linda Ikeji for her Ad menu, I discovered that the large banner located above-the-fold is N1m/monthly. The ones at the sitebars are 500k/monthly. Companies/establishments pay a lot of money to advertise on her website because she has a very large audience (approx. 800+k unique daily visitors) It's the same strategy that Seun is using. If you have a very large audience, monetising it won't be a problem.

These guys never really worked on SEO, they were just lucky to be around during the golden age of the Internet (between 2003 - 2007). Then only a handful of Nigerians were into the business. The industry was so damn soft, unlike today. Check out Naijaloaded too, it would've been bigger than Nairaland if not that it was converted to a blog a few years ago.
