Hey guys,

First of all you all are great help. I just need a quick advice on the website i am going to try to rank.

The keyword i am trying to rank for is: improve eye vision , how to increase eyesight

I want to rank it locally for Singapore.
Increase back links coming from Singapore websites??

Guys please advice me what should i do? register a domain matching the keywords?

improveeyevision.com net or org would be an excellent first step. If you can get the exact keyword phrase of what you want to rank for is ALWAYS an outstanding first step.
 
yes i will can you pls search on google to see if i can rank with the exact domain pls advice on that the competition? cheers :)

actually i am disappointed by Google keyword tool.

once i stumbled upon a key word globaly search of 300000 and when i searched the keyword in google and took note of the url of the first result checked it on alexa and damn the website ranking on alexa more than a million.

i really cant trust google keywords...or am i wrong?

but the first result atbags (.) com is alexa ranking 11 million +

If you are only concerned about ranking in Singapore, purchase a .sg domain and set country targeting to Singapore in Google Webmaster Tools.
 
Invest in market samurai, find a niche, build a website, bank. <---- I might Ebook that there idea and sell it for $$$$
 
You have given half the answer yourself, yes a domain with an exact matching keyword phrase would really help your cause. Also to target a specific locality it would be great if you would submit to local directories. That would improve your position in the SERPs and maps as well.
 
:) Your mistake is that you searched under broad category. Try doing it with [Exact] search. You'll see the result. Yes, "at bags" is showing millions of broad searches not exact searches. It means keywords could be anything like "xxxx at bags", "at bags XXX" etc. etc... So, that's the reason why it shows as million searches. You need to target exact searches. Hope it helps.

Title is misleading. I thought you were trying to rank a "dissicult keyword".
 
Has anyone told this guy to make sure he is doing an exact search rather than a broad search on GKWT??

Also, alexa means nothing...It may be a rough gauge on how you sit traffic wise but aside from that, Alexa = Jack. :)

When you try to rank for any local keywords, make sure it is getting enough searches in your country. Change the default location from US to Singapore. No point in ranking in .com.sg if a keyword is searched only in US.

You want 100s of BH'ers as your competitor? Never reveal your keywords in a public forum! Always choose the exact search count to keyword tool and you shouldn't depend on Alexa for any stats. It is not accurate. It's just a rough estimate just like keyword tool.
