Please Provide Hostwinds review

    Hello Guys,

    I am ready to use hostwinds as my hosting service. But before i use i have to make sure if this service is good.

    Those who have used hostwinds please provide your experience with hostwinds. Also will hostwinds accept payment for unverified paypal?

    i have shared hosting with them and they are good with good support too and cheap price but the owner here don't answer
    questions and ignore his client ..... yes go with them and i think they accept unverified .

    HostWinds is a good option, a lot of members from BHW use them for hosting services.
    Full time support 24/7. The prices are good, and their service quality is 10/10 in my opinion.
    I started using them for all my blogs, after having a little dispute with HostGator.
    No problems what so ever.

    Another downtime for me today. Too bad. I'm almost at the edge of changing my web hosting. I like them because they are the cheapest and offers unlimited bandwidth but this is not good.

    Live chat disabled. Even the email form. Textbox is disabled. Damn..

    I got a level 7 vps with them. They rock.. except right this very second something is up with their mysql server.

    24/7 support? you have got to be kidding me... shared hosting has been down for 8+ hours now... no reaction from them whatsoever...not the first time this month, too... also their MySQL server seems to be going crazy.... what a load of ****. I am starting to get angry now.... 24/7 support... this is just false advertisement.

    I have a windows vps and a linux vps with them, and I really have no complain, the support kick ass! Good prices, good support what else? :)

    My review is that this is not good. This is so because my websites is down now and no money today. I can't milk a goat if it has died. This is only logic!! So angry now!! Sun no shining today for me today!! :(

    Everyone has their ups and downs, after the recent fixes to our infastructure and the recent upgrades our uptime is right back up to 99%

    From what I understand, Hostwinds usually threatens their clients to delete or recall any bad reviews of them, so I wouldn't really take his change of heart seriously.

    These reviews seem more inline to what most of their costumers feedback:

    From my experiences, Hostwinds was an excellent choice and I haven't had a problem with them since I found them. In fact, they helped me figure out almost all of my problems as soon as I asked.
    They're great.

    Host Winds was recommended to me by a friend and I must say that I'm glad he did. Several months ago I purchased a VPS level 4 and it did a great job for my website. The support is great, I'm usually receiving an answers to my support tickets in about 15 minutes.

    When I started to use HostWinds I had the chance to take advantage of a promotional offer paying a very small price for that VPS but it only lasted until December 2012. However, even after promotion was ended I decided to continue to use Host Winds. I pay more now (about two times more) but I'm happy with their services.

    I like the fact that they accept Payza. HostWinds accepts Paypal and credit Card too but I use Payza a lot so this is really a great feature for me.

    I've said their support is great. It's great because is fast and because it helped me in solving various problems like installing different scripts on my VPS or with server configuration.

    Their prices are quite reasonable, you might even consider it to be cheap but the quality is excellent in my opinion.

    As I said first I had a VPS level 4 that worked great so I decided to downgrade to a VPS level 3 to pay less and my website are still working great. Basically I was using only half of resources so I decided that 1Gb guarantee ram and 1.5Gb burstable ram is enough for me. I have only a couple of websites hosted on my VPS so it's enough for me.

    As a conclusion I wish to say that their great support and the quality of their servers made me happy that I decided to choose Host Winds.

    I'm using them now; have a problem with my site and haven't gotten any reply from my email. Going on 3 days now.
