Quality niche relevant Backlinks from authority sites. Guest posts are the most powerful and can even help drive traffic but will cost you $$$-$$$$ for top quality links. Read the White hat SEO and Black Hat SEO pages for help.

1. Optimize titles and metas. Don't spam them, just use your keyword once or max. twice
2. Have strong content. Include images, videos, infographics whatever it takes to make the site more user friendly.
3. Take care of the Header tags. H1 tag should be given to the information which is most relevant to the page and then move down the priority and relevancy list on these Header tags
4. Have an XML sitemap, also have a sitemap for the videos
5. Mark up data , whichever possible
6. Get incoming links from quality sites
7. Start a social media campaign to engage users and direct them to your website
8. Have static URLs
9. URL structure should not run very deep, generally 2-3 levels deep is preferable for small to medium sized sites
