Nooby here looking for some directional advice. I feel like I am way overthinking this, as I have literally spent months learning about ppc/adsense/affiliate marketing, yet I do not know what niche to go after.
Now, I have thought about a couple of niches, but I am not sure if it would be worth going into a niche that is considered to be "high competition"? So lets say for example, something like fashion or weight loss. There are so many fashion blogs/sites out there already, would I even stand a chance? Or am I better off continuing to search for a less competitive niche? The niche I have in mind is competitive, however I have such vast knowledge about it, writing articles and creating content would come fairly easily to me...... so should I just buy a year of hosting, start writing articles and see where it gets me?

A couple years back I made a free blogger account and earned a couple dollars with adsense. Now it seems as though unless you have an established site, you can not even sign up for adsense or affiliate sites, which makes it more difficult to find affiliate offers to promote? (I say this because I had an idea that would generate traffic through youtube, but I do not know if there is an affiliate product for it.) As of right now I am leaning more towards affiliate marketing, most likely through amazon. (I've read adsense and affiliate don't do well on the same site?)
