Hi, this is a WordPress plugin that is installed on a self-hosted WP site so you will need web hosting, a domain name and the WP files installed before you can use this plugin because it Like Jacks the traffic of your WP site and causes them to Like your FB page.
As with all BH activities there is a risk involved and you need to way up that risk against the benefits. If your site is sending too many Likes to a FB page and FB think that activity is unusual then they will usually just place the 'confirm like' button on your site rather than taking action against your FB account.

You've written that one shouldn't add anything (like an optin) to the model box because all one wants is the visitor to click the close X.
Is it possible to do it anyway? I'm thinking about using it on a high profile site where a model box saying "Hi" would be very out of place, but a newsletter signup would be fine, and if they signed up for the newsletter I don't mind not like-jacking them.
Would a compatent php developer be able to make this happen?
Also can you share any creative ways people have styled it etc...?

Hi, I do advise against placing any content in the pop up box that would cause the visitor to do anything other than click the x to close the pop up because that is when the person is Like Jacked. That is the sole purpose of the pop up and the sole purpose of the plugin is to Like Jack people so you get more Likes for your FB pages.
By adding in an opt-in form to try get people to sign up to your newsletter as the first choice and if they don't then having them Like Jacked when they click the x button on the pop up as a fall back option is kind of defeating the object of using a Like Jacker on your site. It has one purpose and that is the Like Jack your traffic. To be honest, if you want to have a pop up that shows an opt-in form for your email list then you would be best to use a different plugin which has a sole purpose of getting people to opt-in to your email list.
Depending on the opt-in code that you use in the pop up it could affect the Jackers ability to Like Jack your traffic which will lead to poor results for Like Jacking too. This is another reason why we advise against placing any type of content in the pop up that is clickable. It's not about having a programmer who is capable to making all of this work, it's a case of the Like Jacker is a plugin that has the sole purpose of Like Jacking your traffic using a pop up. That pop up wasn't mean to be dual purpose.
Instead of a plain message why don't you create a nice looking image that looks like an ad for something like a competition that you're running on your site that reminds people to enter that competition at your website. That ad can look a million dollars which will fit in with your website but don't make the ad clickable so you leave the visitor with no other option but to click the x to close the pop up so they are Like Jacked.
