Can you give some reasons why somebody might want to use this?

When people discover that they unintentionally 'liked' your Facebook page, not only will they get annoyed at you (thereby degrading your brand)- but they'll remove their 'Like' as well.

In what situation would 'Like Jacker' be useful? Can you share a strategy?

The short answer is: Why would someone want to increase the Likes to their FB pages?

If you don't have a strategy for how you would use the plugin then the Like Jacker is probably not a good fit for your online marketing endeavours at present. We have a support desk on hand to assist customers with getting the plugin setup and assisting them with using the plugin but that support won't extend to any form of coaching about FB marketing.

I am saying this in total honesty and I mean no offence in any way. I am just being open in my advice and reply to your question having dealt 1,000's of resale questions about this plugin.

If your website is already using another plugin that creates a pop up then that plugin may conflict with the Like Jacker and there isn't a way of configuring the existing plugin to do the job that the Like Jacker does.

There are no publicly available list of FB IP's simply because there are so many of them and they are always changing. And if someone did make a list public then it would be quickly obsolete as FB change their IP's so often. The best way to gather IP's that are used by FB is to set up a honey pot trap that you control.

With the honey pot in place you then post the link of your honey pot to FB and then monitor the IP's and User Agents that go to that link. The ones that your honey pot picks up will very likely be FB IP's and user agents. Add those IP' to your blocked list in the Jackers settings.

I saw that you opened a support ticket at our desk to ask some pre-sale questions and I feel tit would be useful to also paste the Q&A of the ticket you opened so that others can benefit from the information.


Q: If the user is already a fan before going on my site? The plugin recognizes that it is already the fans and does not click?

A: That is correct as long as the plugin is properly set and your settings are somehow not interfering.


Q: Then the like is NOT removed in any way? Are you sure of this?

A: If the user decides to unlike your page the like will be removed. And as i said as long as the plugin is properly set the users will like your page only once and if they liked it before you start using the plugin they wont get jacked as well.


Q: So for example, I am already a fan of the page "HP", and then visit my website where I set like on the page "HP" with your plugin. When I visit my site, like the facebook page is not added, but is not even taken off? If I clean cookies and cache and my browser history, repass to my website the like is removed or left?

A: If you clean your cookies and cache and also unlike the page then the modal will appear again.


Q: OK, but if i have like the page? What happens when I clean everything?

A: The jacker is set up in such a way that it will not cause the page to be unliked regardless of the circumstances. If you go to the FB and unlike it there then the Like Jacker will Jack you and cause you to Like the page again. But it won't cause you to unlike the page. Even if the modal box pops up and you have already Liked the page the Jacker will still not cause you to unlike that page.

I think support have made this point very clear regardless of how many times you ask the question with a different set of circumstances.

Hi, FB controls who of those that have Liked your page will see future posts that you make. It is impossible to tell you what that figure is and it is influenced by the interaction on your page. If you post content to your page that gets Likes, shares and comments then those factors will also influence how many people your posts will reach but it is all linked in to FB's algorithm.

The Like Jacker gets you the Likes for your pages as that is its job but if a page owner posts content that is of no interest to FB users then they will have a harder time convincing FB to show their posts to everyone who Liked their page.

The plugin will only Like Jack the visitors of your site who are logged in to a FB account at the time of visiting your site. This is because if someone wasn't logged in to a FB account an the plugin tried to Like Jack them it would cause a pop up to appear from FB asking that person to log in to their FB account and that's no use really

For this reason the plugin will ignore anyone who isn't logged in to a FB account. However, traffic doesn't have to come directly from FB to be Like Jacked. As I said, as long as someone is logged in to a FB account at the time they visit your site the plugin will Like Jack them. As an example, if someone logged in to FB and checked the "stay logged in" button and then closes the browser down, if they come to your site later the Like Jacker will detect that they are still logged in to a FB account and Like Jack them.

Ah, yes, now I understand your questions. FB will decide on how many Likes you can get per hour but it is more likely to look at how many you can get per day too. We have a best practise user guide that helps customers to gauge on what should be an acceptable number of Likes they can get away with Jacking without FB raising an eye brow. The actual limit of Likes you can get away with will depend upon the page you're sending the Likes to, such as its age and activity plus how many Likes it already has and has been getting etc.

The Like Jacker is just an automated tool for getting Likes and if you use that tool to get too many Likes or Likes too fast then FB will place the "confirm Like" box on your site. But if you follow the advice that we provide to all customers then you can avoid getting the "confirm Like" box on your site.

Yeah Fiverr isn't going to be a good source for traffic if you're looking for it to convert in any way at all. You need real users to your site so they can be logged in to a FB account at the time of visiting your site for the plugin to be able to Jack them.

Hi, as discussed a number of times on the thread, there is no one set answer for what the ideal percentage is for jacking your traffic. It all depends on your FB page. If your page is new or has very few likes then you need build up the Likes slowly. If it is an established page that already receives a regular flow of Likes then you need to gauge how many extra Likes you can Jack to the page without FB thinking it looks suspicious.

I am not too what you mean by the Link Ninja being auto or needing to put your affiliate link but it is best if you posted that question on the thread of that plugin.

Hi, the Jacker doesn't usually require an app as it will work right out of the box. On some themes where there is a compatibility issue and the theme prevents the plugin from working correctly then it is possible to create a FB app so you have an App ID which the plugin can then use for when communicating with FB to execute the Jacked Like.

When it says "FB App" it doesn't mean a mobile app. In fact I created a step by step guide on how to create a FB App to get an ID which is available to all customers of the Like Jacker. 99 customers out of every 100 won't need to bother using a FB App ID with the Like Jacker but we added in this feature to the current version of the plugin as it was needed to overcome issues that can arise when a WP theme prevents the Like Jacker from being able to Jack the Like to a Page.
