Hi, I made a post about the subject in a different thread and this is an excerpt of that post which covers your question (hopefully)

......Facebook isn't stupid, they know that Like Jacking goes on and has been going on for years. They have gotten better at detecting it using patterns in behaviour and their own algorithms but what they can't always prove is who is responsible for that Like Jacking and this is crucial.

Because of Like Jacking tools and scripts it's really easy to automate Like Jacking and send Likes to any FB page from your website and that has opened it up to being abused in the same way that negative SEO used to be a problem for Google.

So Facebook had to follow the same route that Google took in that FB now aren't so trigger happy when it comes to banning or closing down the FB page that is receiving the Jacked Likes. Instead they place a filter that stops the website where the Like Jacking is taking place from being able to register Likes for any FB page and that stops it dead right there.

By doing this Facebook foil the person doing the Like Jacking and protect the owner of the FB page. Of course I don't own, work for or represent FB in any way and they very well could have a set tolerance where they will eventually ban the FB page that is receiving the Jacked Likes.

What those tolerances happen to be is unknown but if you play it safe then you won't get caught Like Jacking in the first place but if you do then you can expect your website to be placed on the 'naughty list' and unable to send Likes to any FB page again.

I bought and installed the plug-in, but it doesn't work -- at least the modal thing doesn't. It looks like a theme compatibility issue.

You've previously suggested changing the theme in such cases, but this is not an option here -- my site is big and well-trafficked. And I'm using a True Pixel theme, which is fairly popular. Is there any way to make the two work together?

As we don't work for FB we can't 100% say how much data FB collects about the site that is sending Likes to FB pages but it would be fair to assume that they do know the URL of where the Likes are coming from.

Being able to only Like Jack a percentage of your traffic, as well as being able to choose times of the day when the plugin is active/inactive plus being able to choose a cap for the total number of Likes gained in a day are all part of staying under the FB radar.

All of those settings give you total control over not just how many Likes are gained in a day but the rate that they are gained. If you are just starting out Jacking Likes to a FB page and you limit the max number of Likes to 10 in a day then you will want to have those 10 Likes spread out over the day because if they are all gained in 2 hours and then nothing for the rest of the day FB will see it as unusual behaviour.

The settings are all about giving the user total control over their Like Jacking activities to ensure they stay off the FB radar.

Hi, if you have spoken with support about this they will be dealing with the issue with you. Although some themes are indeed very popular they can still prevent the Like Jacker from being able to do its job properly in the same way that some plugins can affect it but the support team will work through this with you and as I don't know what they have already told you or what you have said to them then I can't comment or advise you separately on this thread.

If you have not yet spoken with support please send them an email at [email protected] and they'll work through the options with you and pin point what could be causing the issue.

On the Jackers main settings page, at the top, there is a box that says "Enter URL of website or FB page URL" that you want the Likes to be sent to. You enter the the URL of the FB page in to that box that you want the Likes for.

I just checked your site via both firefox and chrome and seems the jacker is working perfectly.If you dont see the modal box you probably didnt clear your cookies and cache properly or you are browsing in stealth mode.See attached screenshots.
