He connected to Skype on Friday 13th, didn't have a chance to speak with him though. I've been trying to reach him for two weeks now, with no success (mail, forum, skype).
I don't know if anyone who works with him / knows him is reading this, but it is common business courtesy to inform your clients about a possible anomaly in the daily functioning of the service you provide. It's clear that this Kelvin guy is either swamped or scamming some people, I'll assume the former because of his positive reputation in BHW till now. Being swamped is something that happens once in a while, and everyone will understand it if he just told them. Other people's projects depend on the rental of his service, and it's quite offensive to completely disregard them and disappear. All this charade could've been avoided just by talking it out with the moderators, reaching a solid action plan and then sharing it with the clients. Saying nothing or posting "The service will suck for a couple of weeks. Personal stuff going on. Here's what you can do if you are not happy with it. Sorry for the inconvenience." are substantially different approaches.
