Version 5 is a completely new interface! We have gone all out with this new version, not only adding significant features (mentioned above) but also completely redesigning the interface and the underlying architecture.
It is not capable of producing bots for mobile apps, no. Great question. Perhaps this is a good idea for something in the future...

You are not the only one experiencing delays, we have the same problem as well, we have been waiting for more than a month for a fix with de-captcha service but no solution yet. :breakpc1:
When buying Ubot we thought the support is as good as Zennoposter who provided us fast skype support, email replies in 1h...

This has been a tough one because no one else has reported the issue, our support has tried to reproduce it for several months and has been unable to, and this problem is something that's happening to only some of your servers but not others. There are several other captcha providers available to use in UBot Studio in the meantime and I hope you've made use of them.

Ok, you must know what your signing up for ; ubot support is like shouting in a deserted forest.
I am trying to make them fix a bug since April 2012.That's when i started to get heavy with ubot since version 4+ was stable enough ( 3.x was unusable for any practical use, in my opinion).
So, without further wasting your time, the thing is like this: i have a good supplier of yahoo accounts so logically i started using them to automate my work.
At the beginning i was using the mobile version, but since then they started to require captcha and login on the desktop version so i looked for an alternative and found that all yahoo accounts support IMAP.From here on now comes the headache.IMAP was working on any other app (outlook, thunderbird, iphone, delphi written software. etc.) But not uBot. So i thought i should let them know.
Just so you know, if i can't retrieve yahoo mail automatically i am losing hundreds.
So, on 09 April 2012, i tried to explain them the problem :

(i used mobile version and scraped the activation link i needed, mobile version tricked the captcha and also is lighter and easier to work with).But now they display an error and won't let you login on mobile version without logging normally & enter captcha.
I tested out if imap still works without captcha and it does in outlook (see screenshots), thus the need of accessing it via IMAP. Yahoo won't let me acces it without SSL, but when i try to get mail via SSL in UBOT i get an certificate error.
The date and time are the actual ones so it's an ubot problem.
Please fix it cause i'm in the dark without this function working.
What validating procedure ? just make a checkbox with the option "accept any certificate" or something, thanks.

5 months later ... can't remember if the ticket got closed again but i think it did ...
Fortunately, i am a resourceful guy and i found some workarounds using a linux machine, but it's a little laggy (especially when i multithread)- and requires a vps (that i have to pay monthly).
So i upgraded to Professional licence around $200 (in seth's pocket) so i can multithread and i can barely retrieve my mail.
I can only dream about native support.
On 10 Sep 2012 :

Nothing bout the pop3 settings (wich require yahoo+ that's a paid service) found on the forums. Also "ubot yahoo imap workaround" on a popular search engine didn't help ...

So, almost 1 year later and dozens of small updates wich made the bots bigger and bigger, the problem is still here, and even new ones.(That's how i remembered about the imap thing, i was pointing another issue - ui stats monitor freezing - the thread about it just vanished- that's how they solve problems they ignore the minority reporting them only this one affected alot of ppl and they silently fixed it by now)

so, whithout copying again my message (i am terrified about how long this post got so far, but my glass is full after 1 year and a half ticketing back and forth with the ubug squareheads, so i must put some high definition feeling ilustrating this exasperating experience). Thing is, imap worked for a few days natively, with ubot connecting with yahoo's imap server, but didn't last long, don't know why.

Yea, MY issue ...
Sorry for the long post, tonight i just found the patience of sharing this with everyone else, and i wanted to do it properly. IMAP still doesn't work for yahoo mailbox in Ubot Studio 4.2.20 (i pay $5/mo for updates ...) after $169 original purchase + $249 Pro ugrade.

Like i said, i am not the only one having problems :
[ URL with dozens of users complaining about the same issue in the ubot studio forum, removed at a later time, now not accesible anymore]
It won't be necessary to provide a sample script because it happens with compiled bots on all the ui variables (none is updating). This is happening on my customer's computers running net framework 4 , not on the computer with ubot installed.

The UI stat monitor is working without issue when running a compiled bot or a script.
When you're ready, please include a short simple script that demonstrates the issue you are dealing with.
If it is happening in a lare script, please isolate the issue and a provide a short script that replicates the issue.

Hello, i am having troubles with the ui stats monitor since version 4.2.5 (the variables displayed do not update as the bot runs)
Please fix this problem ASAP and until you do, provide me a link to download version 4.2.4 !
Ubot is a decent product, too bad you don't pay very much attention to your users, you got the corporate behaviour "take it or leave it" and you mislead people on the forums thinking they step into a perfect world, with nice support, where their opinions are actually heard not just "deflected back".
Let ubot Studio 5 be the beginning of a new level of cooperation. Don't forget that we exist all over not just only on your backyard, and you cannot silence us, unhappy customers, on other places like you do on your forums.

Oh, do they now ? They only charge a fee for you software i guess.At this stupidity level i was just :| forbidden.
So, for my own sanity i decided to simply drop it, i din't find the patience to press 1 more key on my keyboard, in vain.

Yea, MY issue ...
Sorry for the long post, tonight i just found the patience of sharing this with everyone else, and i wanted to do it properly. IMAP still doesn't work for yahoo mailbox in Ubot Studio 4.2.20 (i pay $5/mo for updates ...) after $169 original purchase + $249 Pro ugrade.
Ps: just another ticket with Ubot Super team (for those who still have some patience left) / read from the bottom to the top :

Like i said, i am not the only one having problems :
[ URL with dozens of users complaining about the same issue in the ubot studio forum, removed at a later time, now not accesible anymore]
It won't be necessary to provide a sample script because it happens with compiled bots on all the ui variables (none is updating). This is happening on my customer's computers running net framework 4 , not on the computer with ubot installed.

Hello.
The UI stat monitor is working without issue when running a compiled bot or a script.
When you're ready, please include a short simple script that demonstrates the issue you are dealing with.
If it is happening in a lare script, please isolate the issue and a provide a short script that replicates the issue.

Hello, i am having troubles with the ui stats monitor since version 4.2.5 (the variables displayed do not update as the bot runs)
Please fix this problem ASAP and until you do, provide me a link to download version 4.2.4 !
Ubot is a decent product, too bad you don't pay very much attention to your users, you got the corporate behaviour "take it or leave it" and you mislead people on the forums thinking they step into a perfect world, with nice support, where their opinions are actually heard not just "deflected back".
Let ubot Studio 5 be the beginning of a new level of cooperation. Don't forget that we exist all over not just only on your backyard, and you cannot silence us, unhappy customers, on other places like you do on your forums.

I know that we put a lot of effort into support and I know that most of our users love it. A few people have posted about their experiences in support, and some of these are people who have used UBot Studio with great success for many years. But because these reviews point out one specific issue that they've had, what seems more likely is that the posts are a means to get our attention turned to their specific problem. After all, the creator of the software is sure to take notice if someone is posting in the sales thread, right?
The truth is, I totally understand where you are coming from. I too have been a victim of support that doesn?t get the job done, and when I need to, I?ve been known to take it to the top. A sales thread really isn?t appropriate for specific support issues. Instead, send me a private message and we'll talk about what's on your mind.
Here?s the thing ? UBot Studio is more than just a software tool. It opened a new world of marketing to the people who entered into the community. The reason for this is that UBot Studio isn?t just a bot that does a certain task on a certain website ? UBot Studio is all bots on all websites. UBot Studio lets you sort and digest and manipulate the internet in whatever way you can imagine.
Unfortunately, the internet is a tangled beast of non-standard data and varying protocols. It took some truly great leaps of software engineering to rein in all of that. What this also means is that, for some people, for some bots, there are going to be particular sticking points that take development time to overcome. We've recently expanded our team, and we expect to have more manpower to handle all issues, but when we meet these challenges, we decide which issues and which features will help the greatest number of people in our community. And then we tackle those head on.
In fact, we?ve just spent the last 6 months and about $200,000 solving all the biggest issues that marketers were facing within our community, and adding powerful features than a lot of people were asking for.
If our team ever dropped the ball on one of your support tickets, I sincerely apologize. As I look at these tickets personally, I see issues that affect one person. I wish we could just spend millions of dollars and hand code every single person?s bots for them and make sure they never had to run into these sticky points. But all I can do right now is put all my resources into making sure UBot Studio is powerful and bug free for 99.9% of websites and 99.9% of people.
But there?s still good news for the minority or people with those sticky issues! UBot Studio has a powerful plugin API. If there is a specific thing that UBot Studio won?t do, and the UBot Team can?t address in the near future, you can take it into your own hands by creating a plugin. By creating a plugin, you can quickly add any feature, any workaround, and any fix you need by adding your own commands to the UBot Script Language. That means you can make a quick plugin to work with IMAP anyway you like, or use a workaround to contact the decaptcher services, or any other little piece of functionality that you can imagine. This plugin API works via .net dlls and there is plenty of advice on our forum and our wiki about how to get started.
The other thing that I see when I look at these threads is a group of people who are passionate about what they do and who have chosen UBot Studio to get it done. So while I wish these matters were addressed in more appropriate spaces, I sincerely thank you for your dedication to the use of UBot Studio, and I look forward to making sure that, one way or another, all your automation needs are met.

daniel that is bs. there is a way to get round everything with the help of ubot. Yes it sometimes might not be able to handle a site in the EXACT way you need. But thats very rare, and with a little creative thinking you can normally solve the problem.
I'm not sure what your post is about, i wouldn't waste my time reading it. However something to do with ubot not reading yahoo mail or something? there are examples, and source code downloads on the ubot forum, which is the most helpful place for support.

I am open to resolutions to my problem : accessing yahoo imap.
Why do i need to find workarounds (which i have ... found, since the need is present ... my way ... freepopsd on linux ...but isn't as reliable as built-in -since it's a bottleneck; all threads going through 1 point) when there is a command inside that could solve it all easy and scalable and reliable.
I am asking uBot just to work as advertised.
And what about the UI variables not updating problem? That affected 0.1% too ? since it happened on many of my team's computers. Why was that thread with dozens of similar opinions deleted ?
I am not a foul (as some of you try to make me) and you should solve the problem then you will have my sympathy.
