Please elaborate bud. CS is saving me $$$s in captcha costs every day. EVERY day. How is this a waste of time?

CS is great program don't get me wrong IF you are running one program at a time. I own over 500 websites so, I run quite a few programs at once. I've tried it every every possible I can think of. CS seems to only work great if you are running one program at a time. If you run more than one is when I seem to get the hang up where captcha's are coming but are not getting solved.
So it's back to decaptcha until a more stable version comes out. Not a big deal I can be patient until a fix comes out for this.

Having a issue with my CS.
Whenever I do a test captcha and send a captcha for it solve it will go to the site poster.decaptcher.com and then the site will say This is the Main Page. and that's it. Doesn't try to solve the captcha or anything.
nvm guess it was just something on my end.
I'm getting this error too can you or someone else let me know what could be going wrong? The hosts file redirect method is working fine but I would like to use CSSE. The hosts file is successfully being written to so I'm not really sure what the problem is.

Well, firstly the tool which youare using it with needs to have a secondary option for failed captchas. This way the failed ones would go to a service.
With CSSE it is regardless of the service since it supports multiple services.
What you would have to do is, stop the server in CSSE, untick the service which you would wish to use besides CS, save and start the server.
On some machines CSSE generates a small bug and doesn't remove the lines for these services and you would have to it manually in order to have a service as a secondary option.
If CS is used via host file redirect and not CSSE, this won't be needed since it only emulates decaptcher.

Well, as mentioned for now CS algo works also based on image size.
If 2 different captchas come through but with the same image size it can reesult in a wrong answer.
You can use several tools at one time but the only condition it would be that they post to the same platforms
For example : NHSEO with SB slow poster or learning mode post er and Scrapejet
As mentioned this is a bug and CS still works. Just test it out with a tool and it should work fine

No, that's not at all what I am saying. I am just letting you guys know that there is very much work to be done and we are constantly working on setting things up the way it can become more effective for us and our customrs so that everyone will be pleased becuause in the end that is what we all wish.
Everything is still beeing worked on heavily and trust me guys, you will absolutely love the comming updates

I'm using GSA 2.49 with Captcha Sniper 1.4. (I didn't try the beta yet, thats 1.5? I think)
Anyway, I setup GSA and began running it. I opened up Captcha Sniper and selected all the captcha recognition types. I let it run for about 20 minutes, when I came back CS hadnt answered any. Or, atleast, the counter that showed average solve time had no reading.
I didn't get any errors about port 80. Somehow I am not connecting the two programs correctly.
I'm sure this is an operator problem, I don't think it is a software problem. Any ideas on how to fix this.

I have GSA working with CS.
Did you "test" captcha sniper through the options menu in GSA? You should have Captcha Sniper selected as the "service" and then hit test. When you are using CS with the host redirect setup your will get a balance of 7.77 and when you use the CSSE in 1.5beta you will get a balance of 1000.
Just run the test and see what it says, if GSA times out then it's not connecting to CS.

Make sure your hosts file is writable you shouldn't have to to touch it - Captcha Sniper should make the addition to the file by itsself. Make sure your antivirus isn't intervening and you are running Captcha Sniper as an administrator.

GSA times out. One additional bit of info. I installed both programs, GSA and CS, into my D drive. Would not having them in the C: drive affect anything?
Is there anyway to tell if Captcha Sniper works at all. Or do I need to have GSA working for that?

Well, as Mark said, when you hit the test buton in GSA a balance should come up. It isn't normal to time out. This means that the tools are not communicating. PLease make sure you have VC++ 2008 installed as mentioned in our guide.

I've tested captcha sniper with SEnukeX; the captcha success rate is around 50% and SEnukeX says I need a more effective captcha solving provider
Haven't tested it with AMR or Scrapebox yet; hope it works.
Yes it works with AMR and Scrapebox. On SenukeX it is working with the forum part since most other sites use recaptcha.
You don't have to configure anything in the host file since Captcha Sniper does this automatically when you start it and reverts your host file when you exit. As mentioned above, please make sure the host file isn't read only and you added exceptions for captcha sniper in your av.

So does this work with BMD now? Software we use include Sliq Submitter, AMR, BMD, and Scrapebox.

Freaking low success rate, not worth it at all
All depends by the platform used with Sick. If you use it with Article submitter you will get over 90% success. With SMF forums you will get over 60% success. If CS support the captcha type of the platform you want to submit to, you will get great success rate (it's obvious). CS works great with Sick.
