Hey guys, is Captcha Sniper able to solve ExpressionEngine captchas?

I'm using SEnuke and with the ExpressEngine forums they have listed the answer is no. I did however, send Mikey an email containing a link to the captchas and so I'm hoping that in a future update that CS with be able to handle it.

It works fine indeed, but NOT for anything semi serious (aka 100 - 500 threads) which makes it useless for anything other than small setups.

Well, as i stated above. 1.5 Beta is multithreaded already only thing which remains is to release the stable version.

If you would have checked the 1.5 update info you would have noticed this. CSSE, the new module maks it multithreaded.

Also we have posted what the next goals are.

How soon can you break recaptcha?

I bought your program from your announcement that recaptcha will soon be implemented and there will be a price increase when it happens. So since I don't want to be left behind prior to the price increase, I plunged in to purchase your program.

That was of course way over months ago. So when will the recapthca promise happen?

We have received this question over and over again. As i stated few answers back. We have promised it and we will deliver. We don't give an exact timeframe about it since again, it requires a lot of work and tests.

We are aware that many users are waiting for it to be implemented, but one step at a time.

For now a big step is that we have manged to make it multithreaded. Now if recaptcha would have come first i am sure users would have given us a hard time that it isn't multithreaded.

Already I am sure that our tool has payed for itselfon day one so please guys a little bit more patience and we will get there.

Thx, I was running 1.4 so I updated it. Works really fine with BMD except for reCaptcha (I didn't managed to configure priority to directly send reCaptcha to deathbycaptcha).

Just submitted another site with sliq and captcha sniper on full auto pilot. 1250 successfull submissions. I'm starting to have fun here

Expression engine isn't supported yet but it will become available soon

OK serioulsy I am interested and I really should have read the entire thread of 27 pages but I didnt so please forgive me if this question has been asked before numerous times.

1. Will it work on my VPS?

Specifically I have access to a VPS with my tools setup on it, BMD, SENX, etc etc.. I access my VPS via Remote Desktop Connection.

Will CaptchaSniper work for me in this instance with Captchasniper running on my desktop while connected to my VPS running BMD eg.

I dont think my VPS provider will allow me to install C.S on the server so just curious if the above setup is proven to work.

NP... it works on VPS yes. The only condition is that the VPS is set up in order to allow changes to the host file. We have seen some VPS's, few of course, which don't allow you to do that and therefor without this, it doesn't work.

Captcha Sniper needs to have port 80 clear and needs to have access to the host file.

If you are allowed to use SEO tools on the VPS then you are most likely allowed to used Captcha Sniper as well

I'll dessagre.It's a piece of software that should replace the deathbycaptcha/decaptcher ... services that ( at least for me ) are one of the most important "tools" in any "SEO operation", no?

I don't. I don't expect much from anything in life that is cheap. No sane person would.

CS works great for the pricetag. I don't expect miracles for under a hundred dollars, unlike a number of posters in this thread.

Try this. Click start, right click computer, click properties, click advanced systems settings, click settings under performance, click data execution prevention, then add CaptchaSniper.exe...hit ok.

That would be decaptcher not death by captcha. But to answer your question, yes, since 1.5 beta it emulates the following:

What is the error message you are receiving?

Yes, it should be compatible as from what my knowledge is, Arrticle Demon is using the same setup for decap services as BMD

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon but I am receiving the same errors as others, the "Seems server is not effective yet". I shut down Captcha Sniper and made sure csse.exe wasn't running by opening task manager, then I run netstat in cmd "netstat -o -a" and it shows nothing using up port 80.

I also added an exception to my firewall to allow csse.exe.

Then I run Captcha Sniper and I click the drop down and choose CSSE, then the new CSSE window opens, and then again the error appears when it tries to run server. I run netstat in CMD again and it shows csse.exe (going off the PID) is using port 80, but the software still reports "Seems server is not effective yet" and I cant start it.

The other two messages below are in green, its just the top box is red.

This error indicates that CSSE (not CS main window) is not able to make the changes to your hosts file. Port 80 is being allocated fine, but CSSE cannot edit the hosts file. Make sure that you add CSSE.exe to your Anti Virus in addition to your firewall.

Also be sure that CSSE is fully closed when you exit. When minimized, CSSE becomes 'hidden' as a system service, which you should be able to see in your system tray as well as task manager. You should always click 'Stop' before exiting as well.

When you run CS for the first time you will be prompted to enter your PayPal transaction ID. When you do this and click ok, another window will appear that contains a very long code. Copy this code and send it in an email to [email protected]. Within 24 hours, a license file will be returned which you will need to put in the folder where Captcha Sniper is installed. The next time you run CS, your license will be verified and you will see the interface.
