Both Andrei and Mike are grate guys, superb support (one of the best I got ever) I can't complain on anything. Captcha Sniper work what it dose, it brake captchas that support, there is no question about it.

The thing is I kind agree with DutchTrafficService.

If an algorithm update cannot be created in a short period of time, you will simply always be 4 steps behind recaptcha.

The thing is there is more about it then just algo they need to update. This software if every succeed to brake recaptcha will literally kill who knows how many $ for major captcha braking service.

The math.

I personally spend around 40$ per week braking captcha, specifically recaptcha. Now, I consider not to be heavy user, but let say I'm average. So average user spend 160$/mo on service.

Lets say, ONLY 100 users switch from decaptcher to captcha sniper, that's $16k/mon literally damaged "x captcha breaking service" income every month.

Now, 100 it's super small number, I personally know 15 people using captcha sniper daily.

Now what about 1000 people, that's more like $160k per month lost fee of "x captcha breaking service" per month.

$160k x 12month (one year) = $1 920 000

1000 people it's joke if recaptcha get broken with CP.

I really hope they'll make it, they'll save me 160$ per month = $1920 per year, and I only paid that software $70. You think that's possible?

How would anyone even know if there is an updated version?
The tool has a version of 0.0.0.0 and no indication or auto update at all?

I'm really not going to scout 400 websites to see if there is an update for any of the tools i'm using.

I agree, that a update button within CS or a auto update check at start up would be ideal.

Thanks for a great super dooper tool

An update button would make things easyer and not only for you guys, for us also and this will be available with future updates. However, at this point Mike is working really hard on recaptcha plus a few new cool updates which I am sure you will definitely love.

So bare with us guys as all we can say is that this tool will keep getting better and better with the comming updates :)

While I would love to see reCaptcha beaten I can't see that ever happening to anything like a reasonable % success rate unless the software finds a way of continuously revolving the captchas until it finds one that's solvable. Anything like reCaptcha that is difficult for the average human eye to solve is going to be hellish for an algorithm.

Previous comments give 30% as acceptable. That's still 70% going to waste and while that may be OK for bulk commenting it's nowhere near enough for forum and directory listings.

I occasionaly get the error saying something else is using port 80, when doing the netstat command nothing is running, is it because I'm running nohandsseo and scrapebox at the same time?

A 1% succesrate would be enough, to 'break' it, because any software could just retry over and over again, but one problem here, recaptcha will give your ip session worse captchas if you answer them wrong to often.. ;)

that's an interesting point, if your using captcha sniper or some other software to post to 1'000s of blogs with recaptcher won't they know your blog spamming unless your using proxies?

Wouldn't you have to be clinically INSANE to not use proxies? heh

Here is a small list on what could use up port 80:

1. Skype
2. Apache
3. IIS Service
4. World Wide Publishing service
5. Web Deployment Agent service

In case 4 and 5 please follow the instructions below to stop them:

1. Click Start then Run, type services.msc and hit OK..
2. Scroll down and look if these services are active!
3. In case they are, double-click on them, on startup type click disabled and on service status click STOPPED.

After this it should work fine :)

If you are not using proxies with your SEO Tools then i highly recommend you do. Posting from your home ip can get you in trouble

Actually, XRumer has higher success-rate with the captcha's recaptcha gives after "spamming" from the same IP (shadowed captcha) then the original reCaptcha (black blob)...which is actually pretty funny. This has been confirmed by the creator of XRumer himself.

Has anyone here successfully used CS with Sliq Submitter? Its on the approved list. Last night I gave it a try. Only one platform needs ticking off in CS - phpLD. For maybe 30 minutes CS worked just fine. At some point SS began bypassing CS and hitting my Decaptcher account.

I have to provide my Decaptcher login details to SS; without them SS will not enable the "Use Decaptcher" checkbox and I presume then CS will not work with it. Sliq's support is insufficient. Basically the guy tells me to contact CS.

OK, sorry, but I'm going to break my silence here.....

Anyway, though I know that the intentions of Andel and Mike are good and the service CS gives to BHW and other software members are purely for capitalistic reasons, some of you guys in this thread fail to see the VERY FAR REACHING implications for how breaking recaptcha on a non-server hosted api SELF HOSTED software would have on ALOT of things related to the industry you guys market in.

I've already covered what it will do to the value of captchas, and hence, to the value of services related to captchas.

But do you guys know what this will do to other captcha services? Not only will it dan near put them out of business, but to compete they would also have to either build software related to CS and also drop prices TREMENDOUSLY in order to keep up. Making breaking captcha EVEN CHEAPER....

THIS IS BAD FOR YOUR BUSINESS IN SO MANY WAYS GUYS!! I KEEP WARNING YOU, SOME OF YOU DON'T WANT TO LISTEN!

But there is another BIG ASS PICK, RED, AND BLUE elephant in the room nobody is touching.

WHAT ABOUT GOOGLE? Since there the ones who own the anti-spamming service your trying to crack,

OUT IN THE OPEN on BHW........

EDIT: Instead of giving a big explanation, I'll leave that question up and see what you guys are going to say.

So, what happens when google notices that you've broken recaptcher, since announcing it here is like announcing it to the world?

What are you guys thoughts?

This isn't normal, I just sent you a PM with my skype id and if you agree I can have a look.

Thank you :)

Again, and I repeat myslef... competiton is and always will be out there. Sites and security modules are changing constantly.

Now to get back to what you are saying regarding Captcha Sniper and decap servicesand i can compare that :

Did the guys who invented the radio get out of business because somebody invented television? ...i don't think so.

Regarding your question about google..... this can be discussed as they are the only ones who control what they are doing.

My point is, they released the panda update and there was a big wave around it. Did this end Internet Marketing for users here at BHW....no, everyone just adapted to it and many are back in business at the point where they where before.

Same thing about recaptcha, they keep updating it and as you see Xrumer goes along, I don't see any big reason why we won't go along as well ;)

I'm having this "run-time error 5. Invalid procedure or call". Tried everything that people suggested in this thread...no luck.
Windows 7 64

Windows 7 64

Run-time error'5' ? Invalid procedure call or argument-5

? This can happen in two ways:

1. When you start Captcha Sniper:

? In this case you would have to make sure you have installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package. If you didn?t please install the one that would suit your operating system from one of the links below:

Code:
For (x86) - http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5582
For (x64) - http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=2092

Make sure it is VC++ 2008, 2010 is causing issues so make sure you install VC++ 2008

? In case you have installed it, it would mean you are using a different language for non Unicode Programs and please follow the steps listed at the link below in order to change that.

Code:
http://econ.la.psu.edu/~hbierens/NONUNICODE.HTM

In case you use win 7 or vista this can be set at the regional settings option in control panel. Just go to the advanced tab and chek the settings for non unicode programs.

2. When you run the test by clicking the captcha images on the right :

? In this case it means it is a tesseract issue and you would have to delete the following 2 lines from your registry:

- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment\PATH
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment\TESSDATAPREFIX

no luck. I deleted all vc++ and installed the one you provided. All language settings are in English. Could you please take a look. I have TeamViewer installed. I really need it to work asap. Thanks!

Need help. Just bought got the license today.
Im using AMR.

When I open CS.

-Make sure you anti virus program is not blocking Captcha Sniper
-Make sure the hosts file is not marked as read only
-You might need to set UAW to the lowest level.

How do I fix this? I mean make hosts file and not marked read only and how to set UAW to lowest leve.

Mickey was very helpful to me. They Just replaced .exe file with a new one and I'm ready to rock :)
