Try to think of it this way ... Captcha Sniper emulates the decpatcher web site ... so in essence it is a web server listening for incoming calls on port 80 .. so it can run on any machine that your bot/tool(amr,scrapebox,etc) has access to.

The bot/tool(amr,scrapebox,etc) can run from a different machine and via a simple hosts file redirect, it can point calls that are being made to decaptcher by the bot/tool(amr,scrapebox,etc) to the machine running Captcha Sniper.

All the hosts file does is simply rout a domain to an ip address.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the explanation it makes total sense since you've explained it that way. Just not sure how to set it up. I know how to edit hosts files and all that pretty easy. Just not sure how to actually do it. :(

is there a way to see a running count of how many captchas were solved/failed? just for curiousity.

reCaptcha will be a tough one to crack.

I assume reCaptcha will have its own category as a lot of platforms use it. lol.

Well XRumer cracked it...although I don't know about the success-rate...

Please recommend me the best platform/footprint or Captcha Image settings for CS to work with AMR.

Should I only check ArticleMS and WoprPress Articles on the left panel?
Is there anything else what should be checked?

Vince in his video says he checks all Captcha Image types on the right panel (that's what I do now as well) but in this thread Andrey said that checking too many types can result in wrong answer.

What do you guys do when running CS for AMR?

Thanks in advance.

P. S. As I understand, both options in Settings menu should be UNchecked - right?
I have DeathByCaptcha as paid captcha cracking software.

Thats correct, you will need to deselect 'use hosts file redirect'.

As far as which captchas to select, its ok to select them all for AMR since the captchas that AMR consumes are all different sizes and the correct algo should be used. If you would like to be sure (in case these sites change captchas, etc) there is already a post in this thread from Andrei regarding which specific ones to select.

Andrei posted an update on this about a week ago. Google just rolled out a new version of Recaptcha very recently which adds a big black inversed blob around (whats most likely) the control word. This change has caused me to have to almost start from scratch. I would be very suprised if ANY bots (includind xrumer) have this new captcha solved.

There is not currently a counter for this and Captcha Sniper has no way of knowing if the answer it gave is correct or not.

great support and product, a small log or even just a counter saying how many captchas have been submitted in the last 24 hours would be useful, just so I know that it's been running hands free.

XRumer rolled out an update a few days ago which solves it, although I'm sure the success-rate is low...maybe around 30 %...

quick question how do i know if this will work for my software that i bought, so tired of wasting money on captchas lol

I think you should either find your software in the official CS list of supported softwares, or ask here if someone uses the same software (that you bought) with CS.

Thx for your nice comments. Unfortunately such a feature is not available at this point.

As mentioned, Mike is working hard on getting recaptcha done so just a little bit more patience and we'll get there :)

First, please check our list of supported tools on the first page of our thread. As soon as we are 100% sure a tool is compatible we are adding it to that list.

There are exceptions of course as new tools are beeing confirmed every week. Basically, if a tool uses decaptcher as a captcha solver and is posting via http it has a big chance of beeing compatible.

I'm sorry to burst everyones bubble here, but it is dead obvious that recaptcha support will never be there, if you want to break recaptcha, you must be able to find a working algorithm FAST. Recaptcha is always adapting and morphing after it gets cracked (see xrumer). Xrumer just popped out an update to deal with the latest form of recaptcha.

If an algorithm update cannot be created in a short period of time, you will simply always be 4 steps behind recaptcha.

And yes i did buy captchasniper some time ago as well, and no i'm not all to happy with it's capabilities, there are several massive flaws in it at the moment.

Just to name 2:

The way it simply crashes if multiple requests come in to fast (this means you would have to run every tool at a rediculous low threadcount = not usefull unless you enjoy 3 backlinks / hour)

And the amount of captchas it can actually solve is relatively poor, some really simple ones simply fail.

The tool works great for me due to the great support.

First I would like to ask if you tried cracking recaptcha since i see you have such a wast knowledge about it?

Of course Mike is aware of this and I can assure you that he can crack it and follow the recaptcha updates.

About your point in 3 backlinks per hour, I don't know what to say, what machine are you running it on and do you really know how to use the tools which you are using it with since i see this comment you just placed is based on pure fiction and not facts. Check your OS, and what you have installed on it if it crashes so much as you mention.

If you experience issus with it as you can see in our thread, we offer customer support and we would be more than glad to get it working for you.

The low thread count is mentioned also but not that ridiculous as you say. For example 15 threads with AMR is pretty decent given the fact that CS doesn't support multithreading at this point but will become available with future updates.

For your 3rd point that simple captchas fail.... my best guess is that this is a problem on your end, because as you can see many poeple are very happy with our tool so far and the ones that experienced issues, we helped them out.

So before flaming us and giving us a bad review I would like to ask you, why didn't you contact support about the issues you where experiencing? ....... as everyone else did

The tool works great for me due to the great support.

thx for your nice comments, we really appreciate it :)

fast reply thanks also if it uses deathbycaptcha would it be able to catch on to that as well?

Managed to get round to sorting a copy for ourselves, I haven't managed to install on the VPS yet but I can say that the support is pretty impressive already

thx for your nice comments, it only catches up on the ones which use decaptcher at this point

thx man, highly appreciated :)

How would anyone even know if there is an updated version?
The tool has a version of 0.0.0.0 and no indication or auto update at all?

I'm really not going to scout 400 websites to see if there is an update for any of the tools i'm using.
