Ive got it working at roughly 30% success rate

I send out email alerts when an update is available. Then you will use the uninstaller that is located in the CS folder, and then delete all files EXCEPT the .lic file from the CS folder. Then you can always download the latest version at http://www.captchasniper.com/download-2, and then reinstall in the existing folder. I typically update once a month, but have ran into a few issues that has delayed this months release. Please read the above threads discussing the same

I just paid through Plimus, which is where the button goes on the OP, but in the video it says to input my PayPal transaction ID. The problem is that I don't have one...
I just started CS and put in my Plimus receipt # because I thought that may be the equivalent. It then gave me a long string of numbers and asked if I wanted to send it to some license email and I clicked "OK." Is that right? I haven't gotten a notification or anything else so I'm not sure if I did it correctly.

You're really close, do what you did before (plimus # etc) but then copy the long string of numbers that it gives you then send an email to the email address it tells you to. When you hit "OK" you are simply closing that window and not actually sending an email.

Ahh okay I just did that. The string of numbers was longer than expected, but I just sent an email out. About how long does it take to receive a response and license activation?

I recently moved my license of CSX to a VPS machine
the softie is working fine and solving lots of captchas but I can't get into the CDK
it opens but it gives "Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument"
and when I press OK all CSx crashes
I had it working on the previous machine and I had gone inside CDK to play a little but now I can't go in
I already uninstalled than erased all files except .lic file than reinstalled on the same folder (but without restart of VPS)
but still get same error I have followed all the instructions found on the download page
Also there is nothing on the 80 port blocking it (in case this was a problem)
any suggestions ?

You can find the answer in the integrated User Guide under the help pull down menu, as this exact issue is listed in there.
Basically, you need to update your VC++ runtimes:

also I was playing around with CDK and gave the database to a friend to import but CDK/CSX crashed
then I realized that just replacing the database and copying the captcha/typeu111 would work
what is the best way to exchange captcha definitions with others ?

Please have your freind contact me at license[at]captchasniper.com so I can fix whatever issue there may be. Also, there are some additional files that must be copied from the tesseract\tessdata\configs. In addition, if there is a training file involved, this would need to be copied as well.
