Best of luck with sales!

I'd defo. recommend people look at doing this. Just the speed/cost benefit has been huge for me. If you've got clients then you know cost can add up quick if you're using shared hosting etc.

I got a review copy of this book. I think it’s a great book and very helpful.

Most hosting services are really crap and their service is horrible. I’ve been using VPS hosting for years now and it’s the best decision I made. I have sites with 150K visitors a month on a 5$ server.

Until now, I used some command like tools to manage the WP sites for me but this book has an easy step by step method to set up a panel and host multiple sites on a single server.

Everything is very well laid out and easy to follow. It’s perfect for newbies too.

It’s a great book and I highly recommended it.

i received a review copy from OP. for the record, i had no idea of setting up hostings prior to this. it always sounded like such a challenging and esoteric topic that I preferred just shelling out the money. but this ebook has it covered. if you are someone who either handles lots of traffic or is hoping to receive lots of traffic, this ebook will pay itself in 1-2 months max. most managed hostings come with some disadvantages. depending on your needs and profit margin, managed VPS can be expensive as heck and eat on your profit. managing your own cloud server is a no-brainer in almost all cases, but especially if a good chunk of your traffic is from tier 3 countries (your profit margin is probably thinner), or if you have quiz pages (traffic spikes are the bane of all quiz owners, so you need a beefy hosting that doesn't eat on your profits). the guide is written in a step-by-step way with many screenshots, so there is not much place to get lost. besides how to set up a cloud server, Plesk, WordPress, and what options and services to use, the ebook also explains other relevant topics such as backup techniques, security, and configuring the mail server so that you can be a well-rounded cloud server owner.

as a bonus; you get a licensed Astra Pro plugin and an Astra Child Theme for one webpage. licensed stuff is always better.

TLDR:

Does it work: like a charm
What I especially liked: OP also covered security and backup topics which could trip beginners and less techy people. always have your backups in order folks.
What could be better/could be added in future updates: this is quite self-contained, so not much. keeping it up to date would be enough I think.
Scalability (can you scale it on your own?): it's quick to set up and there is very little maintenance, so yeah, you don't need a VA managing this for you.
Executability (how likely is a noob to execute it properly without going nuts or expending 6 months learning the ropes): quite executable for noobs. give it 1 read, and then get started with it following step by step. it's not hard.
Part-time-bility ("can I make it work if I have a job?"): yes. initial setup should take you 1 day of work at most (much less if you do it a few times and get some confidence)
Pro tip: this is a great solution for niches with high traffic spikes; for very little money you get a very robust server that you can easily escalate.

I know cloud is pay and go but if we consider this from a pricing point of view is cloud hosting cheaper than vps?

Can I get the $29 introductory coupon?
Yeah, use the code in OP :)

It will when you learn to host your own sites.

VPN hosters need to pay for their hardware and support, that's why the price increase.

This ebook teaches you how to host your own sites fast and moderately cheap.

However big traffic the sites have will it still be cheaper than vps ?

Received review copy of the ebook on how to host sites on self-managed servers.
The ebook has ample screen shots and concise language for tech as well as non-tech readers.
It has easy followed step by step peocedure.
It solves the following 3 problems that have kept me from moving to server from shared hosting:
1) Need to have all the information in one place from start to end.
2) Need to secure the server.
3) Need to maintain the server.
I highly recommend this ebook especially to those who want to turn the page on slow and unpredictable shared hosting and to CPA marketers who need to send large traffic to their CPA offers.

I received a review copy from @Billy Batts of his cloud hosting setup guide.

I am well versed about sites building and setting up hosting with apps like softaculous.
Nevertheless, when I required hosting for higher traffic sites, I always had to ask and pay for helping me out with the setup.
Following the detailed steps of this 70 pages guide, that help won't be needed anymore and I'll be confident about setting this resources on my own, saving money and time.
At the price offered by op, it's a no brainer to hop in and start using it's valuable info for your own and your clients sites (you could even start a fiverr gig and make 100 times the cost of this guide) + there is an added valuable guide to setup your own smtp email servers.

Note: I would suggest to Mr Batts to add a couple of pages about the procedures with the setup when you are doing it from a Mac+Terminal instead of a PC+Putty.

Thanks

billybatts from the above review the guy says there is a guide to setup own smtp email servers, can we use these for cold emailing and this is using the cloud servers?

How sustainable this is for running a money site?

What about the time when I want to flip the site?

Any down time that I can not control? Since there is no customer support on the other end to help me out.

Let me know what you think of my above questions!

Also, interested in purchasing if the answers are in my favor.

Thanks,

Hard to say as different hosts manage different traffic limits, usually the traffic is pooled. Traffic will eventually cost money but on the plus side clouds are easy scalable.

Yes you can use the server just for mailing, cold mailing is no issue however spamming is not appreciated by the server provider.

It's great for that purpose. Migrating to the server of the buyer doesn't take that long if the one migrating knows what he is doing or if you don't want to migrate, just have 1 server in your cloud account and pass over the account so they only have to change email and payment data and have no downtime.

Cloud host provides basic support plus you can ask on our support forum. However, in this ebook multiple ways of server backups are explained so not a whole lot that can go wrong.

i was lucky to receive a review copy from billy batts, the book is very detailed and you can see how much efforts was put in writting it.

it took me some time to post my review because i didn't have any experience in hosting my own website before and i wanted to go through the whole book before to post a review.

the book covers 8 steps to host your own site from generating your SSH keys to adding wordpress and checking the security of your website. (i will not go into details here to not spoil the content of the book)

The last part of the book is the bonus part that include a licensed astra pro agency bundle, how to temporary backup your website, and how to set up a cheap email provider.

why should you buy this book : simply because we all had projects in mind that we didn't try, because we had to pick another hosting plan on top of all those we already have and this has a cost, with this book you can afford to host as much websites as you want.

Finally i would say that this ebook was one of the most technical and well written books i had to review here in BHW.

Thanks.

Thank you for your detailed review.

I received a review copy of the guide.

The guide is really well structured, I start by saying that it is divided into sections and there is an index that also has internal links to quickly navigate the document.

I'm an inexperienced about this topic, and the guide starting very basic and go trhough all the process to let you understaund what you are doing.

I haven't tried to put it into practice yet, but I have to say that I understand a lot of things that i didn't know before and I think this guide will save my ass when I will create a self-managed cloud server.

My rating is 9/10: if you are inexperienced like me and you need to create your own site on a self-managed cloud hosting, instead of wasting hours looking for information on the web, this guide will get you through the day.
