nope.. i have tried to uninstall it and install it again.. but stuck at 2.0.0.36.. i also have tried to restart my vps.. still stuck at 2.0.0.36

I just updated 1 instance from 36 to 37 with no issues, as a test. I would try to download a fresh copy of Scrapebox to a folder on your desktop and then run it and install it. If its a local machine I would also restart it for good measure.

Whats the verdict on doing bulk link analysis with scrapebox now? I see that the PR check has been removed and MOZ and Scrapebox doesnt seem to be working. I see Yandex has been added, but most sites dont seem to register on their metric.

Google removed PR values, so no tool in the world can check PR, so of course scrapebox removed that, no point in having it take up space.

As for Yandex it has its place, especially in some markets, but may not be the best choice for many markets. Its an option none the less.

As for Moz, they are working fine for lots of people, but some people are blocked. Moz is blocking legitimate requests for lots of tools, tools like netpeak, web tools even just requests sent via a browser like firefox. So you can mail moz and ask them to whitelist you or buy a moz account and then Im sure they will whitelist you.

IMHO moz is probably getting a lot of traffic with PR being dead, as they are the major free provider. They already lowered their request limit from 1 million per month to 25K and then they isntalled a firewall that randomly blocks requests from just about any tool out there. Its random because you can take the same request and duplicate it byte for byte in something like scrapebox, netpeak, a browser etc... and the same request will randomly be blocked and sometimes randomly succeed.

Hi. I only use this to check the status of my proxies, but when I start up SB it takes awhile to start, and displays: Building add-ons. Can I disable this part during start up?

Thanks.

The problem isn't scrapebox "Being slow" the problem is your security software is trying to scan and evalutate every addon during startup. Try disabling real time scanning of microsoft security essentials, if its on it will slow startup to a crawl when it would other wise only take a matter of seconds.

hi i want to ask about expired domain finder. if i have a list that contain expired domain and active domain. can it filter the expired domain automatically?

Yes it has this as an option. I have a video here, where you can see that exact feature.

i just updated Scrapebox to 2.0.0.63 and every time i try copy paste clipboard it freezes and crashes "please wait, accessing clipboard" . it also actually makes my windows remote desktop unresponsive and i have to reconnect again.

this version can only handle very little amount of lines. previous version never had this problem. please fix

Thanks. Defender (or MS SE) is already disabled, plus the graphic/message that pops up is in the GUI style of SB.

I can send you a vid.

Always appreciate your detailed replies.

I realize PR isnt an option anymore, and that's interesting to hear about MOZ banning tools, not the best metric but still decent for bulk checking.

Is Scrapebox looking to add another Metric? Maybe Majestic? I know some other tools have replaced MOZ with Majestic.

What are you personally using to bulk check URLS now? Yandex? I don't want to ask to be spoon fed, but do you have anything handy that explains the Yandex metric?

Go into your main scrapebox folder and get the bugreport.txt file send it to

scrapeboxhelp (at] gmail [d0t) com

There is nothing wrong with the version on the whole, I can paste tens of millions of lines into it with no issue, same as always. ITs something with your machine and they just need to see what it is.

Sure, you can send it to the email

Im sure they can sort it. Videos are always helpful.

Sure, happy to help. I can't really blame moz, they are just trying to make a buck. I personally would say majestic is a better metric, but honestly neither moz nor majestic really are anything close to google. By that I mean their metrics seem to me, to be pretty linear. Meaning I can take a domain and flood it with links that won't actually help it rank, but that will inflate the moz/majestic metrics.

PR was great because it gained the google heuristic of valuing links, but its been long dead so moz and majestic are probably the best general metrics.

Yandex has its place and its especially great in markets where its a lead search engine, but in other markets its not really too hot. As for scrapebox adding majestic, Im sure they could, but it would probably require a paid subscription. However I don't know if its something they plan or not.

my machine is fine....2.0.0.62 work perfectly, never had this issue.

now with 2.0.0.63 it takes forever with "please wait, accessing clipboard" so i just end task.

there's nothing in "bugreport.txt" that has updated when this happens because i end task.

We have sent you 3 emails about this, it appears our emails are going to spam. We also sent you emails due to you trying to transfer with an invalid email address so we have sent several emails all up. You are using an email that's not associated with any licenses, that's why it's not working.

.

Hi Sweetfunny, you're right, for some reason I'm not receiving any emails from the address I used to send to you. Sorry about that. Anyway, I'll send another email from my gmail address to be sure I get it. Hope you can help me get my licenses back up and running again, I purchased 3 licenses previously.

So if you do nothing, it will completely normally it just takes a long time? or it will eventually crash?

I mean I have several OS and a half dozen dedi servers plus a half dozen vps and I can't duplicate this at all. You said it "crashes" so I just thought a bug report would be generated, if it never actually crashes and completely normally in time then the bug report will be of no help.

But I can't duplicate an issue, so can you give more details, maybe a screenshot too? What function are you pasting into, the keyword box, the proxy box, the urls harvested grid, the email grabber, some addon etc... ?

What are you pasting in, a article, a list of urls, a list of keywords, etc..?

how many ips you give with this package

I think your confused, this sales thread is for software, not for ips. Scrapebox has a proxy harvester and has some included sources so you can harvest public ips and it has server proxies that are prefiltered, again these are public ips, but they dont' sell or offer any ips.

Can I still use PR Jacker with ScrapeBox now that PR has been removed?

Im going to say no, but I am not 10000% sure of that. I don't use PR Jacker, but I think it requires something to connect to it. If its a case where you take the urls out of scrapebox and put them in PR jacker, sure. But you can't get scrapebox to retrieve the pr jacker data.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has had issues with the page authority addon lately? It used to work perfectly well for me however, now it just says '0 external links' and leaves the rest of the fields blank.

yes, moz lowered their max requests per month from 1 million to 25K. Then they installed incapsula firewall and are not blocking legitimate requests for many tools. Scrapebox, netpeak, requets made from a browser like firefox, online tools etc.. Its a bit random, some requests work. They have done this a couple times before, this one seems to be the longest.

You can contact them and ask them to whitelist your moz ID, but else they are blocking many people.

Where to contact Moz to get whitelisted?

If they have done this before, do you think it will eventually go back to working properly? If not, do you know any alternative rather than trying to contact Moz?

New version started crashing when crawling some large sites (1m+ inlinks). Tried restarting the crawl a few times, new version crashed every time. Once I reverted to using 2.0.0.62, crashes stopped.

Also, it would be great if we could pause/resume crawls. Getting a crash after a 24 hour crawl kinda sucks. Yes, it saves progress to a text file, but there's no obvious way to crawl only remaining links after restart - we have to start over.

thats a million dollar question...

This is round 3 of moz putting up the firewall and blocking all sorts of tools. The first two rounds lasted only 2-3 weeks. Moz started this round at the end of May, so its been basically 3 weeks now. Id guess the only reason they took down the firewalls before was that so many people contacted them that they gave up.

This go round Ive seen less people posting on the forum and less people in general talking about it, they are used to it now. So if not enough complaints are lodged then moz may well leave it up forever. Their goal is to weed out as much free traffic as possible and convert people to paid traffic thus making more money. On the one side I see wanting more paid customers. On the other side offering a free service and then blocking people from using it leads to a bad reputation IMHO.

But if no one complains and everyone either moves on to other metrics and/or pays moz then they win and they just keep blocking anyone and everyone they like. Many people already consider the moz metric inferior to majestic etc..
But majestic has no free option, so ....

The real question is, do you want to pay? The "low volume" plan at moz is $500 a month for 500K rows. They used to offer 1 million rows for free, but you just had to have a 10 second delay. Well Id guess there were plenty of people running 10 second delay around the clock all month long, probably with several moz free accounts so moz was effectively giving away $500 a month plans left and right and they decided to stop. I mean even if they cut everyone off, some people will start paying and it doesn't take that many people at $500 or $1000 or more per month to equal extra hundreds of thousands a month and millions a year that Rand can put in his pocket. Still they shouldn't offer it free and not give it, they should just stop offering it free or actually give it.

That said, if you want to sign up at $500 a month with them Im sure their support will be more helpful at that point then they are for a free account.

The only option I can say asside from contacting them is to either wait, or look for an alternative. No one can make moz stop blocking legitimate requests from numerous tools.

Thats my opinion anyway. Scrapebox support might feel differently and other people might feel differently. But thats what I got.

Your talking about under the Premium Plugins menu or your talking about just where it says "automator"? at the top? You can't take away where it says "automator" at the top, but that has nothing to do with updating the automator. You will have that menu even when the automator is not installed because that is for launching automator files, but has nothing to do with the version of the automator installed. Its actually part of the main scrapebox where the automator is a stand alone program.
