I bought scrapebox about 6 years ago I think.
I never used it and recently started new project finally which requires scrapebox lol
I tried to find purchase email from all my 20ish gmail accounts and couldn't find it..
sigh.. I'm starting from 0 again so quite hard to pay for scrapebox twice in current situation.

Is it possible to get scrapebox again without payment?
But it's fine if can't since it's my fault for losing the purchase information.

Do I need to use proxies when using the vanity name checker to check for expired web2's and if so do they need to be google passed?

Yes, everyone has experienced this lately, there's a couple of recent threads on it in other sections of the forum if you look. Moz appears to have permanently or temporarily banned data retrieval of every single web 2.0 blog platform that anyone would want to check using scrapebox and other bulk checking tools. A few web 2.0s can still have their metrics retrieved such as twitter, and that is probably because twitter now requires SMS verification for each signup which discourages mass scraping and mass PA retrieval. Blogspot, weebly, tumblr, Over-blog, typepad and most of the platforms in the vanity name checker addon will give you a PA and DA of 1.

At first I thought it was their fancy firewall intercepting these requests and sending back a null response but then I logged into a premium account and even there, each one of those web 2.0s is banned.

For the 301 mass url shortner.. could you re-code it a bit to check if the urls can create multiple unique urls from the same domain from { url }

I just realized that when I posted a different definition file some posts above for Tumblr in the vanity checker, that the formatting may have been messed up.

So if your having trouble with teh vanity checker and tumblr you can edit the definition for tumblr and replace the current "available" code with

Its stopping because it ran out of proxies. Max out the delay and max out the proxy retries and see if that helps.

Yellow pages returns results based on city names, but it does give you surrounding areas. So the plugin can only give you back what yellow pages gives it as options to submit when scraping. So no not really, you can't put in like UK or New York and get results from all over the country or the city .

You could create an RSS feed and use rss ping feature but regular ping isn't going to do anything.

Regardless google and other engines recrawl their index so you shouldn't need to do anything, they will find your links on their own.

Sure. I mean until DA/PA is fixed majestic is a great option, its just hard to do this, as you will be doing it manually. At least Scrapebox doesn't work with majestic.

Could you provide a specific SourceForge URL that's not working? I just tested a few and it extracted links from them.

It grabbed 87 internal links for me, what is the issue? Is it saying 0 links or not getting specific links you think it should or can you be more specific?

Sure, but I didn't change anything, I just loaded and went.

Make sure you don't have the use proxies box checked in Scrapebox before you start the link extractor. Because if you have bad proxies then that would do it. Also if your ip is blocked then that would do it and maybe you need some private proxies.
