I don't understand, when I am pinging my site, and some of the hits with proxy are success, I don't seem to get any hits!!! what am I doing wrong? because I have tried other fake hits and they won't give me any hits either!! I am starting to lose faith in those tools

Don't lose faith, just learn the tools. Are you using the single threaded browser mode? Regular ping mode that is multi threaded is fast, but its also just a regular PING. Most analytic software now days discards this sort of traffic. So you may need to use the single threaded browser based ping mode. First go to addons >> show available addons - then install the browser based ping mode. Once that is done, in the main scrapebox window go to settings >> use browser based ping mode. Make sure that is checked. Then try and ping your site.

However they did not abandon it, it still works, and it did work when it was sold. It just isn't getting updates as it was a loss for them. Anyway, if I were them I wouldn't give rebates as the program did as described when purchased and worked and still works today. Its just not being updated with new additions etc... Thats been a looooong time ago anyway, why are you asking for a refund now?

Thats long since changed. Bing no longer uses an API in scrapebox. When they changed over to their current setup it no longer worked with scrapebox. Scrapebox simply scrapes the front end of bing now. So if you are only getting 11 results, then there is perhaps some issue with your proxies being blocked or the footprint.

Try something basic like the word

I tried to scrape for word "dog" without any proxies (I honestly don't even use proxies for my needs) and it still returns only 11 results. Yahoo gave me 180 results. Let me tell you that this issue/bug already was here a long time. I had version when you was able to add your API and it worked great. Then I created new instance and updated Scrapebox and API thing was gone. With that new instance I couldn't scrape Bing. That's why I had one outdated version and one updated. The problem is that I had to reinstall my Windows and now I am lost. I really need to scrape Bing. My home IP is not blocked because I can search Bing with more URLs for given keyword.



I even tried scraping Bing with proxy but still only 11 results:



The second bug I found is that when I have one proxy loaded and I try open URLs in Scrapebox's internal browser it doesn't allow me to choose proxy. My IP was blocked for 30 minutes by Host for too many requests and now I need to use proxy for browsing between pages but Scrapebox's proxy drop down menu doesn't show up my loaded proxy.



I think it has to do something with built in single threaded harvester "Marker for next button" for Bing search engine. I assume Scrapebox's single harvester is similar to multi only we can't change the parameters. It probably can't find it and can't go to next page. Multi-threaded seems too have a problem.

I think on the proxy selector it won't let you select because you only have 1 proxy loaded and it set to use proxies, so it has to use proxies and there is only 1 to use so it won't let you select only 1. It works for me with multiple, if you put more then 1 proxy in there does it give them to you in the drop down to choose?

On bing, I think you are using an old engine file. Go to settings >> custom harvester settings - then down at the bottom is an import/export option. Click that and then if you have made any changes to the engines export them and save them. (fi you haven't made changes just skip the export step).

Then click the import/export and choose to download the latest engine file. Let it update and then go to settings >> use custom harvester - and make sure this is checked. Then try a harvest and choose bing, does it work?

I just don't understand why you would file a chargeback on a product you bought years ago. You agreed to purchase a product and the seller agreed to deliver it. The seller delivered it, then you turn around and use it for years and then decide that you want to tell the seller you want a refund? How is that even right?

Thats like buying a car, driving it for 50K miles then trying to return it to the dealer for a full refund of your original purchase price. Thats not even right.

You won't get ahead in life doing that, but I also can't change people so you can make your own decisions.

Need some help moving my copy of Scrapebox to new computer. The activation system does not recognize my PayPal address - I get an automated email saying there is no account registered to that email address (I have tried all of my PayPal addresses - same response for all of them).

I've tried submitting help requests via the support@ address but do not receive a response (and yes, I've white listed support AT scrapebox.com).

I still have the original install on the first computer (and it is working properly), is there a way for me to see what email address it was registered with or can someone check your logs and find what address was used to register?

i havent received any response to any of the messages.
ive waited up to 3 weeks.
i always got responses before - so does anyone know whats up ?

i think the contact us page at scrapebox used to send an automated message saying you will be contacted soon (i think)
but it did'nt in the recent messages i sent .

If you lost your purchase details, then the license info would of been resent to your purchase address. Please check the inbox your ScrapeBox license is registered to. Also please remove your Transaction ID asap, i've been swamped with false activations using this TID.

Also at the risk of sounding like a cracked record, this is to everyone but again please take the time to save your license info. You need to know your own Purchase Email, and Transaction ID to transfer your license, if you lose these 2 things you have lost your license.

When i scrape the keyword "dog" on Bing using either the single threaded harvester or multi-threaded harvester, it's not stopping at 11 for me. It seems like you are getting served an entirely different HTML page, which is resulting in the Next page marker not being found for you.

However the Custom Harvester you have 100% control over the pre-built engines and you can even train new engines from the ground up exactly how you want them. So you can add the marker you are seeing in to the custom harvester, have you tried this? Does it work now when you add the next page marker you see?

Our service providers whole network got put on to a SpamHaus blacklist due to someone on their "ROKSO" list using the same provider as us. So we had a ton of undeliverable mail, this should mostly be resolved. What issue are you having with ScrapeBox? You can always post here.

If you format your PC, you can activate ScrapeBox again by running it and entering exactly the same details as you did when you first activated. If you save your Email and Transaction ID, don't share your license details and dont post them online you will avoid 99% of the problems people have with their licenses.

There's lots of guides and info about using ScrapeBox, one of the best places to start off is http://www.youtube.com/user/looplinescrapebox/videos where Loopline has over 100 video tutorials on using ScrapeBox. You can watch all these tutorial videos before purchasing.

I'm having difficulties activating my Scrapebox. My Scrapebox was working ok and now for some reason i'm getting "no valid license found" error message. Tried to send you email(couple of times) and contacted you on the support page but still no response from you.

i've been swamped with false activations using this TID.

Those were not false activation's - those were activation's from me trying to activate using all of my PayPal email addresses.

Obviously I don't have access to my original email - Can you reset my email address to address that I have access to? I've sent several emails to support requesting the same.

As Sweetfunny said, I tried it as well, and I can't get it to fail at 11 results. It goes into the hundreds for the word dog. I was going to make a video, but I got distracted yesterday and forgot to do it.

Anyway, I did test and it works, so things I can think of would be if you are using a version of Scrapebox prior to 1.16.3

If you have a time set, turn it to anytime.

If you have it set to 11 results, of course that would be an issue.

The marker that is used is for a non javascript version as the sockets don't support javascript. Your looking at the javascript version I believe.

Perhaps you could make a video and post it of the process?

They only accept paypal or a credit card that uses paypal as the payment processor, so no they would not accept paxum.

Scrapebox works on windows 8 just fine, in fact Im typing this on a windows 8.1 machine that is also running scrapebox.

Due to security there is no way that they can just change your email address without you knowing what your current one is, along with your TID, and generally when there is a question they want you to mail them from the original email address and request the change from there. (The one the license is under).

The issue is that say you post your TID online, then a random person comes along and pms you and says, I want to hire you to do X for me, and I want to pay you via paypal, what is your paypal email to send the money to? Then you give it to them, then they have your paypal mail, your TID, and then its easy for them to aquire your name along the way and viola they steal your license, then request the email be changed to their mail and you see the problem...

So for security they have strict options. However you could probably call paypal, provide them the TID and then ask them what email the money was sent from and "I would assume" (famous last words I know) they would be able to tell you.

Then of course make sure you backup your license info.

I tried to post using fast poster, and then I got something strange called custom poster.

Why scraping doesn't work well, not matter how many proxies do i use, be in 10 or 15 with just 1 thread I can't get much more than 10 000 results per scrape. It doesn't get much results from yahoo and bing (10 per keyword for any keyword).

So for scraping this is probably a dead software, unless I am missing something.

Also the trackack mode which once before was fast now is slow. It doesn't matter how high sucess rate is if the posting speed is zero.

This was awesome software before, now it isn't that awesome.

You have the learning mode addon installed, it can post to 32 different platforms and is the new fast poster. The old fast poster could only post to 6 platforms with no captcha support.

Try going to settings and unchecking both use custom harvester and use multi threaded harvester - what errors do you see in the status column? I can scrape millions of urls in a run. Your missing something somewhere.

The trackback mode is slower then the old one, but for me it still posts fine, similar to the learning mode poster. Does it not post at all for you?
