Licenses are manually activated, this will be done within 12 hours I believe, but I've found generally a lot less (depends on what time you activate it).
You'll receive an email telling you it's activated and you'll need to restart Scrapebox for it to work.

Generally this happens when you are running scrapebox out of a zip file. When you download scrapebox you have to unzip it and extract its contents to a folder. Its a good idea to place this folder either on your desktop or in your my documents folder.
If you have already extracted scrapebox to a folder, then check the folder permissions to make sure that your scrapebox folder has write permissions.
Are you posting to what, wordpress or blogger? Different domains or just one? Self hosted or wordpress.com/blogger.com?

So folks, how to you put Scrapebox to use now that the new Panda was rolled out? Is this the end of bulk link posting? Kinda makes me cryas I love bulk linking so much.
Possible you run scrapebox out of a zip archive, so the poster cant start?

Juast to let you know I submitted a support request today via the site's contact form. Proxy checking is returning timeouts at random. I have been troubleshooting for over a week with 2 data centres and have confirmed that it's an issue with Scrapebox itself. Issue affects version 1.16.0 and 1.15.69. I don't have earlier versions to test with. I have already lost a few clients due to this - they think it's my proxies that have issues.
Testing with GSA's proxy checker and they're all perfect every time.
Hope for a speedy response and resolution.

Its almost certain you are running it out of a zip file or that its a permissions issue. You need to make sure you unzip scrapebox to a folder and run it from the folder. Also make sure that you have permissions set for that folder and that the folder is on your desktop or in your mydocuments folder.

I haven't really finished analyzing things yet, but one thing I would do if focus on links from you unique domains. Meaning not focusing as hard on getting a ton of links from a given domain but getting 1 or 2 so that you have more unique domains in your mix. The new custom poster is great for this, as well as the article scraper can post to blogs you create.
Its hard to say, its probably proxies, but if you can use the contact form and send the logins/pass to support they can give you more accurate info.

If they are using the custom url option instead of the scraepbox servers it could do that. Also you could setup a custom url for them to use on one of your servers and just have them use that.

Thanks for the reply - my users and I are just using the default settings. If we all need to use custom settings wouldn't it make more sense to change the program for all users? Also, I can't see a custom URL being the issue here. Testing right now on 5 proxies, and one times out - my proxy server only saw 4 connection attempts, not 5, hence the time out.
Let me know if you can shed any more light on this, or are willing to work with me to diagnose further.
Edit - I did see the 5th connection attempt, it came up after 50 seconds - that test was with http://check.sysmagic.com/ip3.php. Further testing shows that this is the test URL that is super slow at sending a response back.
Further Edit - as of the time of this edit the issue doesn't exist. I seriously suspect that the check.sysmagic.com is not coping with the traffic at times.

i have the same problem. i use scrapebox on my desktop pc and on vps, working fine on vps but on desktop it's showing this error.

I lost my copy of scrapebox.. How do I get another one? I still have my license code i think but the application seems to have been uninstalled.. What can I do? Thanks

I ran Scrapebox to post some links to some not so important sites, just to test it out to see if it would move them up in the rankings for some very non-competitive keywords. It said it posted like 400 blog comments but when I actually examined the comments pages there were 0 links so I think the blog comment plugin is broken or not working right? Any tips?
