The only difference I've noticed compared to the manual mails is that in the "from" in the manual mails it says My Name followed by the mail and the ones from scrapebox only states the mail

Scrapebox is Windows only. If you did want to run it on Linux, you'd need to run a virtual windows machine.

Today i brought Scrapebox and license activated too! but When i'm harvesting and checking proxies probably it takes some huge time isn't it? It's for me or everyone?

Yes, testing proxies does take a long time and half of them may well be dead by the time your done testing them anyway. This is why many people use private proxies. I would recommend private ones, if you need a good recommendation, there are some here:

As noted above, it doesn't work with Linux. The platforms that they are talking about is platforms that scrapebox can post to, as in CMS. Which is currently over 30.

If you try a different mail account, other then gmail, does it work in Scrapebox? I used my own hosted mail account in the vid. It should work fine in theory with gmail, but you could try another mail account.

and they can help you out. I don't think I could get it any further without seeing your setup. If you want you can pm me and Ill give you my email and then you can just change the mail on tumblr when your done.

What kind of content? Scrapebox doesn't really scrape content as in a content scraper. You can scrape emails, urls, meta data etc.. and its going to give you what language its in, as long as its supported. They are planning to build a content scraper, but its not done yet.

heres a tip to make it quicker set time out 45 - threads 80 on s/box proxie tester
dont test at this point do the following

delete all CN proxies there junk
delete all proxies with a 5 digit port - junk
after that , delete everything but 80/8080/3128/443/8118/
the rest as i said above - TOSS THEM OUT -

take the proxies that are left, run them through forum proxy leecher
proxy tester, demo version will do...then throw the working ones
into s/box and test them.. will be quicker for you

Good stuff Tony. I didn't know that 5 digit ports were junk, never really stopped to pay attention to it. Also thanks for the ports, I had most of them, but I missed one. Cheers!

stick to the basic ports , 80,8080,3128,8118,443,
all 5 port public proxies tend to be CN china anyways ,
so toss the out. but remove both CN+5 PORT PROXIES.

You mean manually, i got 10K+ proxies from scrapebox.

1 - delete all CN proxies
2 - delete all proxies with a 5 port ending like this 200.1.1.1:45836 - 5 port ending
3 - only keep proxies after that on ports, 80,8080,3128,8118,443
4 - run them through forum proxy leecher proxie tester, save all working proxies.
5 - toss them into s/box and test them.

Wondering if it can scrape a custom bit of structured html or a part of web page from a list.

I've got a big list of contact us pages and basically want to harvest the snail mail address - I reckon it's possible, but can't find an addon that can do it for me.

Am I missing a way to do this? Thanks in advance for your help!

Scrapebox can not currently do this. They are planning on making a content scraper down the track. I don't know how long away that is, could be a while or could be soon. Regardless when it comes along, it would be able to do this.

Yes it can scrape emails, no it can not currently scrape IDs, that would be possible with a content scraper down the track.

You can try 1:15. Personally I gave up and returned on scraping using public proxies.

You scrape them with scrapebox automator plugin? I was using some other tool to collect them but before I use them since the latest changes in google they are mostly banned. Is automator able to harvest, test them and export uncompleted keywords (from banned proxies) back to keywords list and start harvest with newly tested proxies in such a loop?

I don't use automator plugin. Also I don't harvest public proxies from scrapebox sources. I'm subscribed to a service which provide port scanned proxies.

Ok, I mean more or less how to enable those proxies in scrapebox efficiently. Is it possible to enter anywhere proxy api in sb? Or you're just copy and paste them all day long
