Am I the only one who can`t start Scrapebox at the moment?
It says that it can`t connect to any server.
Is SB down? When is it gonna be ok?

It's all ok today. But yesterday the servers where down.

As long as you submitted the correct info, it should already be activated. 12 hours or less. If not check your server test to make sure you have all green lights help >> test server connection. Failing that make sure as mentioned above you are using the latest version:

Failing that, check your info, its probably wrong or you already used up your free transfers.

Else mail support.

Pingdom 1 minute monitoring shows the primary activation server has been up with no outages

It must have been something with your router or your ISP etc..

Is the new backling addon only able to scrape up to 1000 bl per url? As I remember the previous also free was way more efficient.

anyway, wanted to ask, is the RSS ping now able to ping normal URL's as well as RSS feeds? I tried using just a normal URL and it went through as success, so I'm assuming it does, but just wanted to clarify?

Someone from scrapebox will manually verify your licence after you go into the software and put in your purchase details. Usually it doesnt take very long, just wait it out.

RSS ping sends pings to RSS services with valid XML feeds. So if your using it to send pings to non RSS aggregators, its just creating useless traffic and wasting bandwidth that does no good.

Yes, it is capped at 1000. The backlink checker originally started a few years ago, scraping yahoo site explorer, which capped results at 1000. Then when Yahoo retired it, it was transitioned to using alexa, which also capped results at 1000. Not it uses MozScape by SEO moz, which also caps at 1000. Search engines cap results at 1000 results displayed, it seems to be a trend....

Moz Scape is actually much more accurate, on a broader scope and much fresher data then alexas was, so its actually a useful improvement. Also MOZ will give you backlinks for each individual url, where as Alexa would only give you the root domain backlinks regardless of what you loaded in.

So the previous you were thinking of, if you took 30 pages from a site and loaded them all in to the tool when it scraped alexa, it would only pull the same 1000 results for them, the root domain backlinks and you would get 1000 results max.

Now with MOZ if you load in that same 30 urls, you could get up to 1000 backlinks per url, so up to 30K backlinks for that domain.

Clearly the new moz version is hands down better.

would be a good plugin if scrapebox could mass check whether domains could be registered or not probably would replace alive checking and missing things for whatever reason....

just wondering what http status code for scrape box alive check do you use to find deleted expire domains? iv inputted all the 500's as the ones to show as alive.. lol probably the reverse way to do things ... anyway when checking to see whether the domains can be registered out of millions i can only get like 4 and they where basically 657hfwrgwi as the domain name and the 4 where lumped together too in the list ... does anyone know what http code to check to better chances of finding expired domains?

Oh and for the scrapebox article scraper plugin in when i put in quite big spin articles scrapebox crashes is there some way to boos tscrapebox so that it can ahndle bigger spintax with article posting and creating spun versions of spintax? gsa can handle the same size spintax but scrapebox seems to take forever and if i click the scrapebox gui it goes white and crashes?

500s are server errors, so I wouldn't think that would make sense. I would think
I would think like 404, of course thats going to lend its self to a lot of false positives.

If you just have a list of keywords, the keyword scraper has that feature.

Oh, you can't actually "reply" you would just have to make another comment. But you could make the first comment with only 1 name, like

mark smith

Then make the 2nd comment say

@mark

Does it give you an error box with an actual error? You can send bugreport.txt from the plugin folder, to scrapebox support. Ive had no issues with it, I mean I haven't loaded in a book or anything, but some big walls of text, so it might be something native to your setup.

I bought article scraper plugin but , i used email with "." inside like "[email protected]" , so i got email that you cant find my scrapebox license, i emailed back that correct email must be [email protected] ..
