@Matt they do return the same results ext is just a lazy mans filetype
Haha
Now current update is google was stuck and yahoo is still working from last 2 hours and NO I am not using the custom harvester.
Edit: When i run scrapebox i got the error - LIBEAY32.dll is either not designed to run on Win or it contains an error. How can i fix this issue in Win 7 32 bit ?
Is Libeay32.dll in your scrapebox folder? Ill pm you links to download them directly to make sure that you actually have the files that are needed.
With the scraper being intermittent its sort of weird. Try the custom harvester and see if it still gets stuck.
Also if you just try the single threaded harvester (go to settings >> use multi threaded harvester - and untick this) does it work? If not, what error do you get under status for google?
Also on the multi threaded harvester, when google gets stuck, if you hit abort and then start again, does it work for a while again or fail immediately?
Are you using just basic keywords or are you using advanced operators in your footprints?
I tried now again without proxies but from a different network connection and it`s worked, but why i can`t harvest with my private proxy?
It sounds like your proxies and your home IP are all google banned. Go to settings >> use multi threaded harvester - and untick this. Then tick off to harvest with your proxies, do you get 302 or 503 errors under status for google? Or what error do you get under status for google?
Hi SweetFunny,
When using the link checker (at the bottom right area of SB), it doesn't fetch the anchor text when the source code has "strong" tags around it like this:
HTML:
<a href="URL"><strong>ANCHOR TEXT</strong></a>
Its not really meant to, best of my knowledge thats bad html formatting and the strong tags should go outside the link. The link checker has some filters, but its impossible to filter for every persons bad html formatting thats out there on the web.
However I don't know if its something that can be adjusted or not, but currently it doesn't work because its not supposed to because its looking for normally formatted link.
It is really a powerful software.
I worked a lot in it. But please explain me briefly about PRStorm.
PRStorm is a program, however scrapeboxes ping mode is like PRStorm. It doesn't really work for most applications the same way it did years ago when it was created, but it still functions the same. Meaning as for traffic count inflation many analytics filter out this type of traffic as its just basic pings. I have a video explaining how to use it here:
