It goes up to 999 and that's the amount of pings to each url for each referrer. So if you are pinging a list of 1,000 urls with 10 referrers and it set to 999 that's 9.9 million total pings you are doing. Be careful with this feature, pinging the same url 50,000 times is like a ddos attack and you could even knock the site offline.

They'll just be false positives. It's not that uncommon.

After purchased, I put the download file to virustotal and there are 3 viruses. Anybody has same problem as me?

Your using a free service. They attempt to catch lame viruses, but its really a "Dumb" virus scanner. Meaning its not smart. Its not smart enough to read the packed files in scrapebox, so it just flags anything it can't read as a virus. There are a few other lame anti-virus softs out there that aren't smart enough to read anything above basic so they just flag it automatically.

Im not saying its bad, and its a good basic, but really you should get you some quality anti virus software on your PC, and not really worry about virus total. Its "nice" if your sharing a file on the web, it gives someone a little peace of mind, but anyone that had mal intentions that was clever could easily bypass it and give you bad soft that passes the Virus Total tests. So really its mostly pointless. Im a go big or go home person. If its not top notch then its pointless to have.

Get some top notch A/V soft for your PC, and keep moving. If your A/V says its a virus, submit it to them to be decompiled. But don't get hung up on little things like a half rate anti virus report. While your worrying about stuff thats been discussed in this thread a thousand and one times, the rest of us are out actually making money. Try focusing on the important parts, and just skip using VT, for all intensive purposes in the BHW arena, its useless. IMHO.

ScrapeBox is excellent for high quality links, it can scrape sites with high PageRank, filter by Alexa Rank, filter by outbound links, remove malware domains, remove pages with bad words etc leaving a list as high in quality as you could possibly get. The manual commenter will automatically fill the comment form and you can skim read the blog post then just tweak your comment to be relevant and pass moderation.

Edit: Just a thing to note, you can filter the list and automatically post to it if you like and there's a number of other tools that will auto post only if the PR is over a certain value and outbound links are less than a certain value, bad words etc. This is fine on the surface, but you will get mostly auto approve and over the coming weeks/months hundreds of others will spam up the same pages with viagra, porn, loans etc destroying your backlink profile and making the original link criteria you set a complete waste of time.

So the little extra time filtering the list and using the manual commenter to make relevant comments that pass moderation is hard to beat if it's quality you want.

But ScrapeBox does a lot more than just post links.

I have a problem with the "Google Competition Finder",
when I'm running it, some keywords work and show "Completed", but others show "Completed, but error" and showing no results.
All the proxies are fine, and if they didn't work, it would show "Error" in red..

Why is this happening?

hello, i'm using sb for more than a year now but nowadays i've got big problems, which at the end are not caused by scrapebox itself, but nevertheless.

i have big problems scraping sites, i mean i work very much with terms like inurl: etc.

when i take 25 keyword + inurl combinations, NO MATTER which proxy provider i use (fresh private proxies always!) they get banned extremly soon now by google. (error 503)

i don't what to do, i mean i want to scrape backlink resources for gsa ser, but can't, because my proxies get time banned SO **** fast! just in minutes, really.

some months ago i was able to scrape for many hours 100,000's of urls with 30 private proxies, now i'm happy when i don't get banned after scraping 5k. this is ridicioulous!

any suggestions?

How many connections are you using when scraping with 30 private proxies?

Regardless of what link you bought it from, Scrapebox will contain ping mode (PR storm).

you will need proxies to run scrapebox
and to buy any premium addons you will need to pay for them

This is displayed when the connection was successful, but it was unable to get a count of the results. Perhaps there are no results for those keywords, try searching them manually in Google and if you have exact match ticked in the addon search for them in Google "in quotes". Do you get results in your browser?

Also just a suggestion, could you amend your queries to not use advanced operators (which get blocked far faster) and achieve essentially the same thing using regular footprints? There's 24 other search engines you can harvest from, and by limiting yourself to just Google and advanced search operators it's the hardest way harvest large volumes of urls.

You don't really need to signup for anything. Scrapebox does have the ability to use captcha solving APIs, but you'll find plenty of blogs that don't require captcha solving. Scrapebox has a built in RSS ping feature, but I dare say most people use an external service (indexification, lindexed etc), but again, this isn't really required.

You will need a source of proxies as proxygo already mentioned. As he also mentioned there are a couple of paid plugins (not necessary to run Scrapebox, but I do find the automator especially handy).

The addons working fine, nothings been changed with it. Maybe you can post a keyword that's not working?

As an unrelated hint, that's the names from the example Names.txt file people are told not to use and managed to build 10 million ScrapeBox backlinks with. So merging these with keywords could potentially net you millions of auto-approve blogs.

I just checked, and without proxies it's working,
Even though my proxies are dedicated and I didn't use them for several days, they should all be working, but only some of them do work with the "Competition Finder"
While all of them are marked as Google Passed when I test them in the proxy checker..
