Even if your proxy test show no problem with G many times happen that G block your IP when you use custom footprints and search operators...
Try some basic kw like "dog" , "seo" or "cars", and as mentioned use single thread harvester to see what happen.
One more thing... even they say you get private this not always mean that private is what you get...
You should try proxygo service since he deliver some great proxy.
Also you must understand that the number of thread you are using is important, I'm talking about thread/ search engine..... Try to keep the number of harvesting thread in 10-15% of your proxy.
That's probably the cause. Sometimes footprints get blocked but not the proxies, for example if you have "Powered By Wordpress" in your footprint it won't work but if you change it to "by wordpress" it'll work again

I tested with the single thread harvester - I get first 3 proxies saying they are blocked, then I get a message saying completed using proxy xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - but with no results?
I then deleted the blocked proxies from my list and when I try with a different kw, I now just get a message saying completed using proxy xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - but also with no results ...
when I test the proxies in the proxy manager, they all pass ... if they are blocked, why is the proxy manager not picking this up?
also - for the record I am nit using any custom footprints or operators - straight single keyword scraping to generate URL lists

@Z0mbie - sure - I took the suggestion made earlier in this thread to test with generic like dog, cat etc - I used dog, dog food, dog training - each tested individually (ie. one at a time). if I scrape with proxies off I get results, if I scrape with proxies on and using single thread harvester, I get the abovementioned scenario ... pretty weird huh? I have been using sb for a while, and have it configured correctly re number of connections etc. but this is the first time I have experienced it passing my proxies in the proxy manager, and then not generating any results ... it is clear the issue lies with the proxies I am using - just strange that I get these different messages from sb - ie saying completed using proxy xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx but still having no results ...

The G ban will last for a few hours, depending on how aggressive you have been
I suppose your proxy have been already block by G so now you must wait for the restriction to be lifted and then test again...
If you want to find out what's happening you can use the proxies in your browser to see what it shows
If it's working without proxies then it's definitely the proxies.

The unicode converter is working fine for harvesting urls
i am talking about greek charachters, the problem i have is when i scrape for KEYWORDS in the keyword scraper, is this fixable?
Reading the post in my voice, haha, nice. I misunderstood, but no the keyword scraper does not support unicode or work with the addon. The issue is that scrapebox was written with one character set and it would take an entire rewrite of a lot of the code to make it all unicode.
I don't know if making the unicode addon encoded keywords work with the keyword scraper is possible or not. I mean it doesn't work right now, but I don't know if they can add it.
However I asked them if this is possible and I will post back here what support says.

Do you have time span set? Is there a red text under the urls harvested section? I have previously forgotten to turn it off of something like 24 hours and then when you combine with your footprint it can yeild 0 results. Just guessing.
Are they private proxies? or public?
Generally the proxy manager is pretty straight forward, but google can ban IPs on lots of things.

simple enough - its your proxies .. here goes
public scraped proxies are so over abused that by that time you
scraped them and tested them 10k other people did the same thing
and they die...change your supply location .. or
change your keywords

I talked with support and the delphi compiler won't allow it. They would have to convert the entire scrapebox software to the new delphi compiler, but unfortunately that would largely be rewriting scrapebox from the ground up. So redoing 3-4 years of work. So it simply won't work at this time.

I bought scrapebox last night after reading all the great reviews. This morning I cannot seem to activate it on my vps, when I went to the scrapebox download page, there was chinese writing on it. Has the scrapebox server been hit? Or is it something at my end?

Scrapebox still is a essential SEO tool that not only for researching competitors, products, and scraping url?s, it is also used for commenting on blogs, pinging and quite a few other things, which are counted like backlinks so your site will go up in Google and other major search engines. But after google penguin, you must use it more carefully.

I think there are some Chinese guys who seem not to like ScrapeBox and have nothing else to do than play foul game and attacking the ScrapeBox site...
