No need, it saves settings automatically. If its not saving the settings then it can't write to the ini file, likely due to permissions.

If this is the case, the easiest thing for you, probably, is download a fresh copy of scrapebox and run it from your desktop or mydocuments folder. These are ideal for the permissions scrapebox needs. Else if you understand permission settings you can just adjust them as need be.

I'm thinking of buying scrapebox because I finally made some money and want to invest it. I'm still thinking between GSA SER and Scrapebox. Why would I buy Scrapebox over GSA?

Also, I read in another thread SB has a lot more to offer than just comment blasting. If so, what else does it offer? Can I social bookmark with it? Or what else? Thanks

Wow, custom search engine harvesters in the latest update! Like in Hrefer. A much needed update.

But in Hrefer I can update the proxies while the harvester is running. In Scrapebox how can I do this? Scrapebox should also filter out duplicate URLs or root domains on the fly while the harvester is still running.

I'm not saying that GSA it's not good. But indeed, scrapebox it's not just a tool for posting blog comments. It's a tool that any marketer should have in his arsenal. You can do a lot of things with sb. You can search all the features on google but I will enumerate some:

At the very top of the custom harvester setting window, do you see the setting that says "After how many minutes shall the proxies be replaced"? Use that in conjunction with the other settings around it to update the proxies on the fly and deal wit proxies.

You can use the dupe remove addon to mass filter them quite quickly and easily when its all done.

i was doing a simple trackback blast and after 44 mins i always get the same error &*(i have tried many times to run the same campain with and without proxys )

Does it only do it with that list or does it do it with other lists?
Send our ELF into support and they can tell you exactly what the error is. Here is the instructions

Please shut down scrapebox, if it is running. Then in your main scrapebox folder there is a file called, scrapebox.elf. Send that file, it contains the crash data.

Probably your IP is temp banned by google for to many requests. Why don't you try with some proxies ?

Hello, can somebody share their experience with harvesting emails from niche forums powered by vBulletin?
Does it work and is it hard to config Scrapebox for email grabbing?

Sort of. You harvest URL's from Google, Yahoo etc and then scrape those URL's for emails.
You can take your harvested list and then extract all the URLS of each site, then use the
email grabber on the list.
