Scrapebox has a new Addon system. The old IPC system let the addons talk to the main GUI, but windows would randomly pick which scrapebox instance they would attach to. Now they will be forced to attach to the instance they are launched from. Scrpaebox told me it took over an hour per addon to rebuild them X 29 addons and a new GUI, factored in with support, this update alone took them days.

But Im excited as this will personally help me a lot! I regularly want to use data, but I would just always save it off and load it in, its not a big deal, but it saves a step and thats very nice.

You HAVE to upgrade sbox to .55 or hirer AND REINSTALL all of your addons to use this new system.

SB's proxy tester cuts out

When testing say a 1000 scraped proxies, after about 20% SB shows a timeout error for the rest.
I checked "Server Access Test" and both "Access Test" and "Authentication Test" are red and SB needs to be restarted.
This happens every time I run proxies tests, SB's Server Access cuts out on me.

I have several proxy tools and it's only SB which plays up, so I don't think it's my antivirus (Eset NOD32)

Taking it real slow with 50 connection and 30 for timeout

Can anyone offer some advice please.

Thanks for the video, Loopline (& others posted on youtube). I'm new to the program, and have slogged through the first 100 pages of this thread - and watched various videos to try to get a good idea as to how to proceed. I've got my desktop littered with txt files from my early attempts - hopefully I'll sort out how to organize them before they bury me!

The program is great (as others have said many times), but what I find really refreshing is the fact that no one ducks questions or issues. SF makes every effort to address issues as they come up, and that has set the tone for nearly 300 pages of Q&A.

It's a thing of beauty.

no problems here and im testing 50k a day to get 3k google
proxies all fine .. no issues

Got it sorted out.
Added exceptions to "protocol filtering" (advanced settings) in ESET NOD32 which fixed it.
Letting you guys know in case anyone else should run into this problem.

I just set mine on no proxies and 15 second timeout and hit "Check all" before I go to bed and I have my ranks waiting for me when I wake up. I think multi threaded could cause people lots of havoc, because there is no error reporting, like no status codes to say why a rank failed and if proxies get blocked people will just post up all the time that it doesn't work.

It already happens with the proxy harvester ALL the time and there is error reporting. Anyway, my 2 cents.

For google scraping use the exclude operator which is '-'. So for example:

keyword -hotmail -gmail -yahoo

Guys, i used some public proxies, obivously they weren't good result. I have a question, i'm looking to scrap urls for the french google, do i need a french proxy in order to do this ? or a US proxy will work as well ?

any IP will work from any country, although "perhaps" french IPs might be slightly better, but thats theory not fact. Just set your custom google in scrapebox to the french google your after and set you languange preference and load your proxies and go.

You would need to do waht is called a transfer. You only get 1 free transfer a month. My guess would be that since you just bought, you can probably also get away with a transfer in the same month, just email support and politely ask. "Technically" I don't know if the free transfer is null and void the first month, it could be, but if you ask, you will find out one way or the other.

Sweetfunny doesn't pm here, as stated previously in this thread.

If you have been waiting 3 days then you either submitted the wrong info or you used up all your transfers. If its not done within 12 hours there is an issue. Also it could be your anti-virus is stopping scrapebox from authenticating. Meaning your license may well be active, but you may not be able to contact the license servers because something on your pc/network is stopping scrapebox from authenticating.

Try a server test. Go to help >> test server connection, are all lights green?

If they are, double check that you have submtted the correct info. That you are using the correct paypal transaction or receipt id and that you are using the email address that the money was sent from. This is the email you would have gotten the "thanks for purchasing scrapebox" email from in the first place. It also would be the email that you have listed as your primary email in paypal.

If you did all that, then contact support at the contact form.
