OK, i am so confused, and tired of this! I already lost lots of my clients! The SB is showing me this msg about the severs and cant load/verified my license. Sometimes it connects me and then fail. I tried to update the version thru the software but when it get restarted then again unable to connect to any of scrapebox servers and the showed version is .49 , not 51 even that before restarting it it showed .51...

The second thinng - I go to http://www.scrapebox.com/dl/scrapebox.exe as u have mentiond
Tried to download the .exe then my mozilla stop working (NOT RESPONDING) and me PC get frozed and stuck , or is slowly as hell.
+ My Microsoft security essential is showing me that there is probably a password stealer in it ....

Sorry, but when you use a AV which cause FP and block ScrapeBox, how can that be a fault of the software team?

I first followed ur steps , then I shut down even my MSE and NOD32 , download the scrapebox.exe and when i try to start it , its showing me

scrapebox.exe is not valid win 32 application .... I am with Windows 7 . What can i do!?


Оk, everything seems to work fine now. I got issues with couple of programs (not responding) all the time when the MSE issua appear. Now i restart my laptop and its working fast as before , Thanks mate

I am having little problem. There is no sound when it pops up the msg windows for scrapebox. When i lunch it and other sounds, like when you start it in the begining and its appear some little window with msg, there was some sound on it. Now i dont have sounds. Any ideas how to fix it. Regards


P.s Problem solved by re-implement the same themes and restart. Cheers

Scrapebox comes by default with a few proxy sources (about 9) where you can harvest, test and use the working ones. These proxies are great for scraping/harvesting, but not so good for posting. It's recommended to use private proxies in that matter.

The downloaded update contains trojan. Or is it a clever attempt to avoid DDOS?

1) The downloadable files form the ScrapeBox server do NOT contain any malware! No idea where you got that idea from... As discussed previously, MSE cause a FP.
2) What you see (bad encoding) seems to happen only in Chrome and IE. Try to Reload the page via the reload button.

The current ScrapeBox version is 1.15.52, which will prevent the false positive from MSE (and maybe other AV). Please update asap.

There is nothing to fix. The fault is with MSE, not ScrapeBox.
Just now, Microsoft did the analysis and it came out, of course, clean (see attachment).
All we have to do now is waiting for the definition to update.
And until that happen, we decided to remove temporary the exception handler (which is causing this FP with MSE, and ONLY with MSE).
Once MSE updated the definition, we will add the exception handler again.
The exception handler allow us to look into crashes and fix issues, by sending details about the crash to us.

The false positive is certainly due to the EXE packer (PECompact).
I use PECompact and all my clean EXE are flagged by some stupid anti-virus...

ScrapeBox is clean.
No worries to have about that.
