Ahhhhhhhhhh crap
I added my Paypal address (which is my personal ISP email) along with the transaction ID to get my first license but the thing is, i received the welcome email at my main biz email which is not the same.
In fact WTF ???????? Isn't suppose to send to my Paypal email ?

Now i didn't know which one to enter as in the email it said to use the main biz email but also to use the Paypal email i'm like WTF hehehehe. I guess that's why there's a delay in processing as it has been 10 hours now since i bought the product.

Anyways, if your close to them, just tell them that it's a legit purchase. They will know it's me as they probably don't sell 50 copies a day right ?

VPS requirements. If we truely are talking light tasks, then 1 instance of scraepbox and small small lists 1GB of RAM would be fine. 2GB would be more ideal, and Windows 2008 R2 is best.

I assume you mean change dead proxies at no cost and not get private proxies at not cost? I don't really ever run into dead proxies, (dead being non working) but most providers I would think would swap those pretty quick.

Yes you would need a license for the vps and a seperate one for the home pc. I mean if I were you and I got a decent VPS I would use that first and get a 2nd license for the home pc. Email them about a discounted 2nd license. You can get extra licenses for $45.

Oh got it. Most proxy providers will replace your proxies free of charge 1 time per month. I have used a LOT of private proxy providers, because I run tests to see which will work best for me. I have not found any that would replace it more then 1 time per month for free.

I assume by banned, you mean google banned? or akismet banned? or what?


Because google bans last less then 24 hours in most cases, and often less then 12 hours. Akismet is going to ban your site either way. I have seen sites akismet banned after 5 or so manual comments. Its just how it is. Akismet is a VERY small player anyway, you just have to ignore them and move on, as most self hosted wordpress blogs dont' use akismet. Not to mention IMHO akismet is now harder then ever to set up, since they have moved to issuing their own keys and its not integrated with wordpress.com keys any longer.

Anyway, they will ban your url, so it makes no difference if you use a new IP.

For google the key is to not go to fast. I set my connections at 20% of my proxies and I can scrape all day long. Like I have literally set 25 proxies on 4 connections and it scraped for a week straight with no bans. 4 connections might seem slow, but its actually pretty fast. But I use public proxies to scrape a lot anyway. There are a lot of great services where you can buy public proxies, like proxygos or you can scrape your own.

On the whole I have no issues with Private Proxy IPs being "banned" from anything, except akismet and thats irrelevant.
 
When will you have this feature:

Scrapebox can check the links of the "posted" entries instead of going through the whole list of failed and not failed entries.

Export posted to a file and then check that list, not the full one.

lol, i purchased the software months ago, 7 days ago i requested for transfer of license and since then i have resubmitted my license details plenty of times. My problem is still same, "No valid License found". Now what ???

Firewall is not blocking it, not sure if there is a port I need to forward in the router, actually it worked a while ago.
I'd like to add that there are no problems scraping Yahoo, it's just Google. Perhaps they changed something in their API?

Then you fall into one of 2 categories.

2.) You are a scammer trying to steal a license/activate one that isn't yours.

Back link checker 2 sucks ... it finds 15 backlinks while majestic shows over 200 :D will this get fixed?

First of all i am not a scammer, i have a legit license which i purchased from my own verified paypal, also trying to communicate through same email that is associated with my paypal. I have submitted 100% correct license info & not only once plenty of times in last 8 days. I think I'll have to file a dispute if they do not resolve it soon.
 
just bought this awesome tool after learning some tutorials from youtube and this forum.. gonna digging out this tool :D
 
When I harvest urls from a single domain it removes all of the duplicate domains automatically.

How can this be stopped?

How much cpu scrapebox is supposed to utilize while using fast poster?
I run fast poster at 100 connections and the and the cpu usage is 100% of which 95% is scrapebox. Sometimes it drops a bit but it remains high all the time. I'm running it on VPS with single core Intel I7 (2.66GHz). Note that i don't have any other tasks running in the background and im only using one instance. I wrote to scrapebox support and they suggested to remove any urls containg more than 250 chars and remove urls containing % signs. That didn't help. Even the link checker (free one) consumes less cpu and i think link checking is much more cpu instensive task since it has to search through all the html file for the page. I also didn't find any threads about high fast poster cpu usage.

So is high cpu usage by fast poster normal? Is there anything i could do to lower it? Is there anything wrong with vps?
