I would use like 10 threads to start and then whatever timeout you want. You might have to take the connections down to 5, but probably not. You can probably even do 20, and then like 15 second timeout, or whatever timeout you are looking for. Start slow and increase until success tapers off.
Not to complain or something but my private proxies shows up as ip blocked in the proxy tester , I tested them manually , they all work normally in google.
I think something is wrong with the proxy checker.
The proxy tester pulls random pages from google (more or less) just like a web browser would to check the IP. It doesn't really make sense that they would work in a browser and not in scrapebox, but Google does have different bans per ip/per hour for different google services.

I am currently scraping with a huge footprint list using my niche keyword and wonder wheel keywords (everything is about 1,000) on my VPS. Scrapebox has already generated over 4 million sites and it still still scraping. My question is this...
1) Should I terminate the scraping because it is taking too long (it's on for three days already).
2) How do I sort out the huge list generated platforms i.e PHBB forums, SMF Forums, Wordpress Blogs and so on.
I'll appreciate your advice.
If you want, I have let my run for a week straight with great success. It depends on how much you are wanting to scrape.
You can use the blog analyzer addon to sort out the platforms its compatible with, but scrapebox works with blogs, so its not going to sort out smf forums and phpbb forums and such. you could use scrapeboard for that if you have it.

I can tell you though, even right now, its not taking 4 days to get licenses activated. If its still not activated you probably submitted the wrong info. Here is a video no how to find the correct transaction ID:

If you submit the right info, it will get activated. Usually its less then 12 hours, it could be a bit longer right now, but it will get done. They are dedicated and on it.
I get error 404 when i try to extract links using link extractor. please what could be the problem
It could be that your anti-virus/firewall/malware checker is blocking the addon/traffic, so check that as well.
The link extractor does Not use proxies, so thats not it. It could be that the actual url simply isn't there of course. However if your having this issues with all urls and you can load them in a browser, then something is blocking the addon. Add allow rules in your firewall, anti-virus, and malware checkers. Don't forget about the malware checkers, I have seen a lot of issues caused lately by great programs like malwarebytes, but it just doesn't play nicely with scrapebox.
