I would like to run ScrapeBox on a webserver. I know that most hosting companies do not want you to run .exe files.
1) Is there some shell, Virtual machine etc. that would let me run an .exe on a webserver.
2) Are there hosting companies who will allow you to run .exe files. If yes, how do I find them? Are there any key technical terms to search for to locate them?

All you need to do is get an online windows server and then run remote desktop to access it as if it was just sitting on your lan.

Just do a search for Windows vps hosting and you'll find a load of them.

for some reason i will have scrapebox opened waiting to do a blast then i will do something else on my computer to prepare the blast and scrapebox will close out by itself. this is getting extremely annoying. when it closes and i try to open it again it says: You have multiple instances of scrapebox running from the same location!

what is going on here? i will appreciate some help. thanks.

I tried Yahoo Site Explorer but their numbers seem way off.

Be patient. It takes 30 seconds to 24 hours on average.

Then I must be using it incorrectly.

It's claiming I only have 6 'inlinks' which I know to be way off - by about 230. So it can't be listing many of website's backlinks.

But for a couple of days, things are changed :-(
I can harvest with no problem
But when i test the proxies, after 30sec or 1 min max, all proxies are error "Error timeout" i am using 20 threads .. i tried with less same result...15.00s time out .. increase or decrease ..same thing
I let it finish and when i want to test them again, SB tells me to try later it cannot test them again. I close the software, test again and after 30sec-1min max, all proxies are "error timeout" again.
Anybody has had this problem ? any idea how to fix that ?
It was working 15d ago, last week .. not this week :-(

This is a bad idea, and SF doesn't recommend it. Cause then you can run into issues with people claiming they never transferred it.

What OS are you running? It almost sounds like your half-open connections or your ports are maxed out. How many proxies are you trying to check when this happens?

Site explorer does not show all of your links. You can of couse use scrapeboxes inbuilt link checker to check if your links stuck. If they did and you scraped them from an engine, then they will find them, just give them time.

You can, but no its not recommended. It looks very spamish and is likely to not get your comment approved.

you are allowed 1 transfer to another pc per month
only. if u have 2 pcs your best getting 2 licenses
