I thought I would share a theory I thought of. For those looking to get their links indexed. You could try creating a blogger blog and then plastering your links in posts on the blog. Then submit the feed using scrapeboxes RSS ping feature. This could work for any blog.

Alternatively I would *presume* that google inherently crawls all blogger blogs, although I don't know. It was a thought anyway, it would alleviate some concerns people have had about where to upload their xml file.

Anyone done anything like this?

where can i get v1.15.6? i'm having the same problem with the link checker in the v1.15.7, unfortunately when i roll back its still the same version. i downloaded the latest package as i lost all my backups in my old vps.

Hi guys, I just bought this software a few days ago and already got to do a few blasts, but as being a newbie I have a few questions, which i hope any of he more experienced users will be able to answer (I did browse 60% of this thread but couldn't find a solution.

1. Is it a MUST to use private proxies? can I keep using the free ones and just clean up the deadies daily? When I get the error "Failed, Timeout" is blog's fault, or bad proxy connection?

2. when fast poster mode fails, and slow poster is activated, it runs as a front window on my PC and i can't do anything unless I pause... is there a solution for that?

3. If I will do blasts of a few hundreds of blogs daily (assuming most don't get to be approved), how soon can I see a result for a site that is already indexed, SEOed, etc? I guess I am naturally impatient to hear a success stories, and no, I am not one of those who posted a blast last night and wonder why they are not on first page this morning.

4. If I don't manually ping the links, and let google do its job in its pace, will it be enough of pinging is crucial?

private proxies are only used for posting - nothing more
usualy cost 25$ a month for 10

public proxies for url scraping only

dont use private proxies for both they wont last long enough
dont use public proxies to post with / not reliable and probably
already spam banned all over

Assuming your not using an ancient version of wordpress, then the radio buttons in the upper left quadrant that you are talking about have only to do with harvesting. If you select one of them it will harvest blogs for that platform from the engines based on your keywords

There is nowhere in all tutorials that I've read and watched I saw that part covered (about usage of Posting radiobutton).

If they are for harvesting, why are they in Post section?

I'm not too experience in SB yet, but I've read a lot and still learning like you and will share a few things on your questions. A lot of stuff to be learned from this fantastic software.

When I get the error "Failed, Timeout" is blog's fault, or bad proxy connection? - Yes it's better to use private proxies to get better success and "stick" rate (> for manual approving comments), and it's easier to by-pass askimet's notoriousness.

2. when fast poster mode fails, and slow poster is activated, it runs as a front window on my PC and i can't do anything unless I pause... is there a solution for that? - I think normally we get a message (pop-up) that requires manual selection to run slow poster..

Loopline's idea is great too (see above)!

4. If I don't manually ping the links, and let google do its job in its pace, will it be enough of pinging is crucial? - You can either try as above or let Google naturally find and index your backlinks. Of course it'll take more time and your backlinks can go unnoticed as well (not all).

Yes, you can scrape emails from urls with the email scraper.

Rollback only works if you already had it installed on your pc previously. However there were no changes to the link checker. There might have been changes that caused your A/V to recognize it differently and cause issues. Try disabling A/V and firewall and test it.

Well you asked about using the "wordpress" button for harvesting. The "wordpress" and other similar buttons were removed from the posting section a very long time ago, so if you have them as options then you are using a ancient version of sbox and need to update.

If you are just talking about the fast and slow poster options then yes you need to choose to use fast or slow or manual, but sbox will auto determine the blog type.

Error code 0 - generally means you have bad proxies or you have misconfiguration something in scrapebox

I tried with proxies and i tried with my own IP, but nothing changes. The proxies are public, but are stable and fast. And i have a dynamiv IP.
What could be the problem with scrapebox?!

The list is leftovers from fast poster. I let it run on slow poster when i got to bed and when i woke up after 8 hours i noticed scrapebox froze after only 200 blogs (out of 12k). I also had a popup and some flash update window, so i figured i'd better run them through the malware filter to avoid that happening again.

Think you could add an update to Backlink Checker? When you use that, you get sites like adobe.com, facebook.com, etc and I was hoping if you could add 2 fuctions. The main one I want is a filter function that can remove urls that have over/under X amount of backlinks. This would be an amazing feature. Secondly, it would be cool if you could add a retry error function for Backlink Checker. Thanks

Yeah, instead of putting in google and yahoo you put in a list of urls that have you links on them. For instance if you had forum profiles that had your link on them. You could put your domains, but they are likely already indexed if they have that many backlinks, besides if you index your backlinks, and they point to your site, then your sites willl get crawled.
