Should work fine with HMA! Hide My Ass..;)
I use it and the developers of HMA have confirmed that this would work.. and I have had no issues with proxies..:)

i bought scrapeboard and am excited to use it.

the ns server is the same as scrapebox...
it would be pretty hard to fake it when ns1.scrapebox.com
so ill trust the site.

Just bought scrapeboard but cant get it to use decaptcher service it always gives the error "failed to get decaptcher balance". Anyone is having the same problem?

i am on the fence now. Should i get scrapebox or scrapeboard?

Both! But you could start with scrapebox, because its more developed than scrapeboard that is a beta software for now.

what i want to know is whether or not they will continue to keep this updated evem with the scrapeboard out. Surely we would have to upgrade right?

"You cannot complete this action on the card you have selected. Please select another card."

Someone suggest....

This may sound dumb but what does this actually do? It will search for blog and forum posts based on my keywords, allow me to setup a profile and login to a forum, and then post on the forum. How long does it take to generate a few hundred incoming links? An hour, 2 days, a week?

What is meant by license transfer? Tranfering the software from one computer to another? When this software runs does it take over my computer so that i can't do any other work? Is it recomended to have a computer just for this software to run on?

redsox001:

1 - the software does a lot of different things; it's prime directive is to provide mechanisms for commenting on blogs. ScrapeBoard which just "came out" is a different app by the same dev team, it comments on forums, so don't get confused with that and ScrapeBox, which comments on blogs. Also, ScrapeBox does a lot more - it has a number of addons, take a look through this thread, others on bhw, and loopline's scrapebox faq site and youtube channel for more info.

2 - License transfer - no it doesn't take over your computer, when it's running in slow poster mode it has to have focus but that mode is optional (don't worry about it for right now, the bigger point is - the references I think you are reading about license transfer involve the fact that the app is tied to the computer where it is installed. This is to prevent a person from buying one license and running it on say 3 or 30 computers. You can run multiple instances of the program on a single computer, but only on that single computer. And if your hard drive crashes, or you get a new computer or something, you can transfer your ScrapeBox license to the new gear. Hope that clarifies, again, you might want to check out the official scrapebox site and/or loopline's scrapebox faq site.

I like having a computer dedicated to running it but that's just because I use it so much, it's not a requirement by any means.

peace - gregs.

I think the prime directive of SB is to harvest URLs , rather than simply comment on blogs, hence the 'scrape' , but to each his own :)
